Dashboard: Irrelevant in the age of iOS or gaining new life in Lion? {TUAW.com}

May 2nd 2011 5:57PM Are you kidding? I love Dashboard. I use the following daily:

iStat - Seeing temps quickly by pressing F12
Dictionary - English is not my first language so I always have to check whatever "quaint" and others could mean
Translator - Self explanatory
Unit converter - For currency mainly

Breakfast Topic: Do we need a third faction? {WoW}

Apr 25th 2008 3:33AM I've always thought of the forsaken and blood elves as their own faction due to them being EVIL. The true horde has orcs, trolls and tauren, not some dead humans.

Mac OS X 10.5.2 brings big FPS gains {WoW}

Feb 12th 2008 11:44AM I have the latest iMac and this update certainly helped buff the FPS quite a bit, and reduce the lag greatly in Shattrath. Awesome update!

Insider Trader: In stitches over BoP tailoring {WoW}

Feb 8th 2008 7:14PM Primal mooncloth + Whitemend is an absolutely great set for any healing priest... And I have a little problem with that. I have made that set aeons ago and I'm still wearing the same stuff. When is it really time to replace it?

Gearchecking the expansion {WoW}

Jan 16th 2008 8:53AM Well the gear will be tier 4 or 5 quality (Blizzard said so), I'm sure people will still be wearing their 70 epics at around level 75 or even until 80... Just like in BC, if you had tier 2 or 3 quality gear it surely lasted a very good while. I'm not scared to lose my lowly epics for some blues that drop from the easy starting dungeons.

It won't be a major gear reset since honestly most people that care are already in high arena gear or doing tier 5 content.

Nintendo now accepting stars for Wii Points {Joystiq}

Dec 7th 2007 7:30PM This deal sucks, because it's only for the basic European countries. By basic I mean UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain, and for once a few more. But no Wii points for the rest.

Change your gender? Blizz says no {WoW}

Nov 28th 2007 3:30AM I was going to comment about gender changing IRL, and about how difficult it would be to make a beefy male orc into a slim female orc, because the body type just isn't right. It's already hard enough in real world for men to be made into women.

But then after reading the comments, engineering and magic turns people into dragons and whatnot, so why not use those to change gender...

Voice-chat and women who play WoW {WoW}

Oct 10th 2007 5:30AM I have a problem with voice chat, since I play in an RP realm and play a female character (yes I'm male IRL), and so everyone thinks that I'm really a woman too. I've never said my real gender to anyone, but people just make the assumption (can't blame them of course). So umm, yeah I'm not in the mood to start using voice chat since it would completely destroy my character I've played for ages. And probably some people's dreams too :D

Joystiq hands-on: Tomb Raider Anniversary (Wii) {Joystiq}

Oct 3rd 2007 3:53PM I'm really looking forward to this! Blablabla, Wii collecting dust etc. I really love Tomb Raider games but I never even played Legend (was looking forward to buying the gamecube version but the promised extra content never came so I'll get it later for 360 when I get one), oh well the thing is the PC version that comes with a bonus dvd of making of and such is like 25€ but this Wii version will surely be over 50€.

First Neo Geo titles confirmed for Wii VC, Sept in Japan {Joystiq}

Aug 31st 2007 5:32PM What a horrible price. How about 30$ for a DVD with 20 games?
