Ready Check: The human element of the Raid Finder {WoW}

Nov 11th 2011 3:57PM I'm thinking that Blizz should have an automated raid leader that barks out strats and tells people what to do in a general sense.

For example prior to an encounter some triggers the NPC RL (maybe even a person standing before each boss that talks in /y):
Tank 1 do this, tank 2 do this, heals do a,b,c; ranged dps to one thing and switch to x when it happens; mele dps watch out for this and blah blah blah.

It's kind of been given the label of "practice mode" anyway, and it would really just take the dungeon journal to the next level. I don’t raid much anymore but this seems more realistic than expecting a consistent leader every time a group forms. My 2 cents

Meet the Bloggers: Basil "Euripides" Berntsen {WoW}

Jul 20th 2011 5:28PM I am thoroughly embarrassed by how many times I had to phonetically read this to get it... hilarious though!

I don't know, I just thought you needed that.

Meet the Bloggers: Basil "Euripides" Berntsen {WoW}

Jul 20th 2011 3:39PM I have to agree with the confusion over the hate towards Basil.

From what I understand the purpose of these articles is to give us a brief insight into the people behind the blogs that we read on a regular basis. Like Pyro stated, Basil is the "money guy", he enjoys that aspect of the game among the other things listed. If you read his blogs he isn't the “sugar coating” type of personality in most cases. He tells you how to get from point A to point B and how many toes you may need to step on to get there. His articles tend to spark the occasional outrage of ethics and values within the game due to his approach; however he is good at what he does and would've expected nothing less in this article.

I would have been disappointed if he secretly wished for Warcraft peace among the factions or collected beanie babies in his spare time.

About the Bloggers: Tyler Caraway {WoW}

Jun 29th 2011 7:15PM .... and by "involved in the personal lives of writers" I mean in conversation. I promise I'm not implying that I want to show up on your doorstep asking to see the famous couch cover of doom and the matching red wall.

Jun 29th 2011 7:02PM These articles are ridiculous amounts of fun.
I feel like this is the "WoWInsider Water cooler". In fact, I am petitioning for a daily column for those of us who don't follow Twitter (too old to figure it out) so that we can just get involved in the personal lives of the writers, and see their back and forth banter.
Very cool guys there.

Jun 16th 2011 2:57PM I think I can help here; the real number of active subscriptions is 12,000,004.

I just started 5 boxing and purchased 4 new accounts yesterday. I'm almost 1% positive my calculations are correct at this time.

(I named all 5 of my druids different variations of "wowcarebear" before this comment was authored I swear)
