Sep 25th 2011 2:18AM Yea I agree. The same could be said about the 4p for Affliction though with their ability to refresh soul shards with SoC. Still it is nice to see that Blizzard is listening to all those people who posted on the warlock class discussion thread recently who said that the CD on the Doomguard/Infernal was way too long in the first place. But, as it stands right now, my doomguard easily does over 1 mil damage with the right CDs up as Demo. Having him up longer AND with a shorter CD is far too OP for something like this to stand without some other kind of nerf to the move in the future.
Jul 23rd 2011 3:43PM Here's a technical question that I'm not sure you'll be able to answer but I'll ask anyway:
I get most of my wowinsider reading down on the go via my iphone's safari web browser. However over the last week or so, it seems like the moblie version of wowinsider has been about a day behind the content that is available on my desktop at home. I just wanted to know if this is a problem that can be fixed or is there some issue with my phone that is preventing me from viewing up-to-date articles.
Jun 4th 2011 6:41PM I don't believe Blizzard has figured out how to make the transition from 'support' class to a class that actually can compete on the meters. Cataclysm has been real hard to deal with so far in the fact that we don't bring unique buffs to the raid anymore and we can't use them to explain our way into raids anymore. We've seen Blizzard try, and fail, at buffing our AoE DPS and our single target DPS is about middle of the pack, putting us toward the bottom of the charts on most fights. But overall, and this is the biggest issue in my book, I've found myself having more fun with my alts than I have with my shaman. That's never happened to me before and I don't see much hope in the current patch notes for 4.2. And yes our dps will be going up in the next patch just because pretty much everyone else, even those specs that need nerfs, are getting nerfed to some degree. But they did something like that back in Wrath and it failed miserably. So I'm currently getting my hunter ready for the Firelands release here soon because I'm sure that, even though they've been hit with the nerf bat as well, that I won't feel so hopeless about my class like I do right now.
Mar 15th 2011 7:24PM It should be noted that in both the picture and the text that the duration and mana cost for the totem have both already been affected by totemic focus. The duration without totemic focus is 6 seconds for anyone who is curious.
Mar 1st 2011 7:03PM I'm a healer for a 4/13 HM guild and I've been using TC since our first normal mode kill. I tried the 7/2/32 spec for awhile but, even with the added chance to miss, the 3/7/31 TC spec has worked wonders for me. It has allowed me to focus less on spirit gear and more on my own throughput for raids. Even with the added chance to miss, I dont feel like TC has hurt me at all and there are plenty of times where I can squeeze in a LB cast or two. Simply put it's worked wonders for me and I can't imagine raiding without it. Still I understand why people are hesitant to use it. I'd recommend just giving it a shot one night to see for yourself.
Jan 8th 2011 2:55PM I don't see very many vanity mounts or pets but, when I do, they usually come very quickly back-to-back. I had been farming the MgT mount for about 3 months and had raided kara every week in BC and had never seen either of those places mounts drop once. Then I ended up getting the rare pet from Zangermarsh drop for me one day and it opened up the flood gates. The MgT mount dropped the same day while the Fiery Warhorse dropped not even 3 days later, along with the Disgusting oozeling that happened to drop while I was questing in old EPL on an alt. However I seem to have used up all my luck as I never saw either ZG mount, still have yet to see the Baron mount after at least 150 runs so far, and Anzu has eluded my grasp till this day. So I think I might have used up all my luck with those other two mounts drops on that one week lol.
Jan 7th 2011 2:04PM "Lost in the Deeps" has been the bane of my daily questing existence ever since I opened up these dailies on the second day of the cata release. It has been up only once since the xpac dropped on my server, and on the one day I wasn't able to log on to check. It would seem Pebble will be eluding my grasp for quite some time at this rate
May 9th 2010 5:41PM I must say that this will be a huge issue for me, playing a Jack-of-all-Specs shaman in our raids. I'm MS ele but I'm constantly being asked to either heal if we are short on healers or go enh if we are ranged heavy that night. With all the various pieces that going to be up for bid amongst everyone, and seeing as how 10 and 25 are being mashed together, play styles like this will take alot longer to achieve. While it does help that Ele and Resto gear are going to be the same thing, this issue is a bit more evident for people who are in my positions but play a Paladin or maybe a Druid. Things are changing and having the luxary of a hybrid class being able to do anything will take far longer to achieve in the upcoming xpac.
Nov 23rd 2009 11:46AM That pet is awesome. Hope I win :)
