Mar 12th 2012 1:46PM Q for the Q(ue(ue)):

Regarding the resurrection scroll - If I already have 10 characters on a realm, and accept a scroll of resurrection, is it possible to delete one of the existing characters so that my free lvl80 can go on my main realm?

Feb 28th 2012 3:37PM I'm sure that there is some sort of API to get the error message out, however it would take some enthusiastic add-on creator to implement an add-on to give you this information.

Are you said enthusiastic add-on creator? I know I am not, so don't just leave it up to "someone" to do it!

Feb 28th 2012 3:35PM auctioneer will do this. There is a 'vendor' matching rule that will scan through the AH and give you a popup window to bid/buy the item that is listed below vendor price.

3 things Warzones taught me to love about Battlegrounds {WoW}

Feb 20th 2012 8:30PM @Scott

There is a keybind option for 'closest friendly' or something along those lines. I played as a Op Medic in the warzones, and when I found that option, I was in heaven. It's still annoying not being able to click on someone, but this will "solve" the problem similar to tab targeting.

I understand what you meant, but due to the nature of text based communication, it wasn't possible to understand the tone implied in your message. That leads to people thinking that you're complaining just to complain. I think you would have had better luck with a post like this:

"This was a fun article to read, but I'm really craving some 'real' WoW news"

Your meaning was true, but he words you used to express yourself were inadequate.

Feb 16th 2012 1:49PM BattleMage! I love that idea. When you pick your spec, you're granted access to mail, and then at 40 you get access to plate. That would open up spell plate to another spec. Of course, you'd need to do some conversions of stats to ensure the battle mage has the right amount of avoidance. That would be the hard part, and I don't even know where to start, but I'd love to be a battle mage!

Feb 16th 2012 1:46PM I think it's more akin to playing on a softball team. When the short stop can't show up for a particular game, someone has to step in and play short. If the next best short stop on the team only wants to play left field. The team needs him at short, he'll likely suck it up, take one for the team, and play short.

Feb 16th 2012 1:39PM I appreciate your opinion and would like to subscribe to your news letter.

My favorite class that I ever played in an MMO was an Enchanter on Sojourn MUD back in the mid 90s. The class was a pure caster, with next to zero offensive capabilities. However, it did excel at buffing offense and defense, as well as mitigating those 'oh shit' moments. The class had a plethora of abilities to make the group better, and acted mainly as a buffer/debuffer. It was great to see the tank get smashed, then fire off a quick dragonscales on whoever the boss switched to while the other tanks 'rescued' the one currently getting smashed. There was no notion of 'threat' in the game, and tanks had to actively taunt the mobs to keep their attention.

I'd love to see a pure buff/debuff class that specializes in mitigating those 'oh shit' moments. Sadly, I don't think that type of role fits very well in the 5man group dynamic that blizzard has. Also, leveling would be a pain.

Feb 16th 2012 1:28PM The fact that he's getting pressured. Not that he can't say no. He's trying to find a way that the group doesn't pressure him into switching. I ran into this issue with my guild at one point. We were in Firelands, and our regular MT didn't make it, so they looked to me and the other warrior to switch to a tanking spec. At the time I had a fury for pve and arms for pvp spec, so I had to hearth to org, respec, and re-do my keybinds. I did it to help the group, but personally, I didn't want to do it at all.
