Nov 12th 2009 8:30AM Who needs chocolate when you have these babies!
Nov 11th 2009 3:38PM ^^^ Totally beat me to it. I agree 100% as I found Quest Helper to just kill my computer. My friends I level with use it and have started to simply follow me because they kept having to back track otherwise.
Nov 11th 2009 3:35PM A lot of my friends use Questhelper but find it very heavy on resources. I found it only helps me find quests I am on, not necessarily what order I should pick them up and what not.
I now use Tour Guide for leveling purposes. You can go with the standard guides provided with the addon (recommended to use with TomTom for the handy arrow pointing ability and Lightheaded for the handy WoW head reference [not required but handy!]) or use other guides like James' and WoW-Pro leveling guides which are made to work with Tour Guide.
It runs a lot better and doesn't strain the resources of a computer nearly as much (with Lightheaded being the only resource muncher of the bunch and it's optional). Plus the guides give you tips and suggestions on the best order to complete future quests so you're not back tracking.
Nov 5th 2009 9:37AM You can go to your account management and see your payment history. It should go back to the first day you created account (something like 10-day free web trial or 1 month free with game purchase, etc).
Oct 28th 2009 2:04PM For some of us, though, it's not about the mats. Many will happily DE for people in groups. It's more about the fact we don't get the choice now. It's automatically put to the group to choose it rather than letting us use our profession at our discretion.
Oct 28th 2009 1:43PM I am of the exact same thought. It's the coercion and lack of choice that bothers me about this change.
Oct 28th 2009 1:41PM Have to agree. I usually will greed along with everyone else if it's a PuG. My issue with this change really isn't resolved since it's forcing me to use my profession rather than letting me have a choice. I don't see any other profession being forced to do anything in an instance or elsewhere simply because the rest of the group has selected that option.
I know it's a common argument (and I honestly don't hold to it prior to this change) but if there's a mob that can be skinned or herb/ore obtained in an instance you don't see an option for the group to say "mine/herb/skin" that. That option would only be available if some one with that profession were in the instance too.
Normally I wouldn't expect them to do so and share the loot but it's the same principle. Forcing anyone to use their profession when they might otherwise have chosen not to is not fair.
Oct 23rd 2009 9:09AM For the record, you can Slow Fall off the highest tower in Dalaran (the one above the Citadel) and land on Naxxramas if you aim right. Bored Mage + Slow Raid Building = First one there. :P
Sep 28th 2009 1:21PM Hmm, though you could pretend to tolerate mages for Counterspell, which will work (especially on the pally, yay school lockouts).
