Feb 10th 2011 5:58PM I love how they say 'Please refrain from attempting to derail other threads with this topic. It is neither appropriate, constructive, or respectful of the other posters'.
Yet that's exactly what they did to every player that had the title.
I laugh at their shenanigans. Whoever they have in charge now just seems to be a bit of an idiot with a god mentality. 'We have so many subscribers we can do what we want and it doesn't matter if we lose a few thousand'.
I mean even if everyone with the title quit wow and stopped playing - they would barely even notice the drop in the bucket.
Feb 10th 2011 5:43PM Agreed, I did it this morning and no free stuff on my transmutation master.
Jan 25th 2011 12:43AM It's important to keep an eye on your volatile prices before deciding on which transmute to do.
At the moment on proudmoore, volatile life goes for 10-15g and volatile air goes for 20-30g (it used to be 40-50g, it was nice).
So always double check your pricing before taking the word on the internet that someone is making oodles of money.
Jan 23rd 2011 5:57PM Hate to break it to you, but Scholomance is a real world from outside WoW so it doesn't count. It's where Dracula learned to be a magic mystical man.
Jan 17th 2011 7:06PM I thought I was doing good at the start of cataclysm - I had 10-15k gold.
I went broke levelling professions and then was one of the first on the server to find the vial of the sands.
I managed to get up to 260k through disenchanting, prospecting, inscription and vial of the sands making.
Then I got my druid to 85 and spent about 150k on gear for her. She only had one piece of gear that wasn't BOE and it was the revered gloves from hyjal. It was awesome hitting 85 and then getting catclysmically superior less than a minute later.
So awesome that I don't have to farm and hope and pray for gear.
Jan 6th 2011 11:38PM Anyone else suddenly want to have wild sex with a female goblin?
Jan 6th 2011 11:34PM The expansion maybe a month old but does that make it old hat?
I'm only doing hyjal for the first time myself now so I haven't explored everything there yet. When you have an expansion with two starting zones and no need to do both of them straight away - then yeah you can be patient with some people who haven't omgblitzkreiged and done absolutely everything to sit around and go... that's it?
Jan 4th 2011 8:45PM Is the tome: Polymoprh turtle back in the game? or should I buy it from the auc house?
Jan 3rd 2011 8:59PM Sadly the whole % thing is completely wrong.
You need 4/5 or 8/however many. So say for example you want molten core achieve, you need 8 guildies in their, not 35 or however many is required to be 80%.
As an addendum those people need to be in the dungeon for it to count. You can't, for example, have 5 guild people in a group and have one power through a low level dungeon. You need 4 of those 5 to be inside the dungeon at the time. We tested and it didn't count with only one person doing it.

In regards to old school trapping with silencing shot or los - sure you can do it, but it's a pain in the arse. Not every instance has an easy los pull these days. Much much easier to MD the tank, freezing trap and then have everyone else CC as they see the trap go up. Everyone is happy that way and you don't have to kite the mob halfway through the instance.
Nice and easy for everyone is:
Misdirect on the tank.
Launch frost trap.
Frost trap goes up - agro gets MD'd from all the mobs to the tank
Everyone else fires off their CC.
Anything loose heads straight for the tank.
Alternatively if there's a lot of caster mobs.
Everyone else cc after frost trap goes off and mobs agro on the hunter
Mobs run straight for the hunter because camo stops them from targetting you with ranged spells + abilities.
Tank grabs agro as mobs hit the group
Make life easier for your hunters - let them trap launch pull. It keeps all the CC'd mobs in the same area and you don't have people running all over the place.
Also for all your survival hunters - don't forget that you have wyvern sting. If something breaks free you've a handy 30sec sleep, which is oodles of time and can be very handy. Especially if the tank's dead and you've got two mobs running loose and being crazy.
