Jan 20th 2010 8:40AM This comment is perfect. Think about the way Blizz is implementing things. They launched the Finder first because players love shiny new stuff. People are able to gear up and low pop realms don't feel left out (more motivation for toons to xfer during free xfers from high pops). However, there are two things that Blizz still had up its sleeve to address the lack of "community" issue:
1. The weekly raid quest: it is constantly pugged so you can keep up on your realms gossip there.
2. The pending launch of the guild leveling system. This has great potential to create more motivation for tight knit guilds and servers than anything prior to 3.3. We shall see if it works, but it is a huge wildcard for Blizz.
Jan 13th 2010 1:58PM Go buy this book. This is the only way to select random numbers. A computer is biased. Also, read the reviews, very funny.
Dec 11th 2009 9:27AM I had a rogue in a group that needed on everything that fit a slot for him. Even a +SP dagger...
Dec 11th 2009 8:41AM Oh yeah, and wouldn't it be cool if we could rate the players at the end. Like a scale of 1-3 or something. 1 being terrible, 3 being great. Then have a function in the LFG tool that allows you to only enter a group that everyone has a score of >2. That way people would be incented to be nice :)
Dec 11th 2009 8:34AM I have been running my level 30-60 toons on chain dungeons now using the system. I have no rested XP left on any of them. I love it for leveling. My only complaint is that you cannot que for a BG while using the LFG tool. If you think about it, it is no different than getting into WSG and then getting the alert that an Arathi Basin is ready. When I am on a dps toon it can take a little while to get into a group and it would be great to kill the time getting some XP in a BG.
Aug 21st 2009 4:20PM My mid-leveled alts are going to be completely lost and confused when their quest logs are empty and they are stnding in the middle of a volcano.

Aug 21st 2009 3:43PM Does anyone else feel a little weird playing the current version of EK and Kal... I mean, knowing it's future is destined for destruction? Make sure you starting shooting screenshots :)
Aug 21st 2009 8:54AM But Matt, there are real people at Blizzcon. Not my thing.

Again, nothing to do with my comment. Your example is basically the same as carrying a frost resist set... You taking different sets of gear is personal preference. not having "hit" on your gear is an in-game restriction on dps and tanks that healers dont have to worry about. I am all for having to bring different sets of gear to excel in your role. That is completely different than having to not wear a ilvl upgrade simply because there is a restriction in place.
