May 9th 2009 1:22AM I totally agree. I have never made any money with leatherworking except for the one time a BS needed some green leather armor to make Green Iron Hauberk.
Armor kits are a dime a dozen and not worth the mats you need to make them. Heck, they don't even get used up if I put them in the guild bank!
The only reason I have kept it is the attack power fur lining. I can't make myself give that up for the pain it would be to level another gathering profession.
Also, someone should have told me that much of the leveling gear that leatherworking makes is for hunters, druids and shaman as it has int on it. As a rogue I hardly ever got to wear anything I made while leveling. (Oh, except for the green leather armor that made my gnome like like a turtle.) I seriously wonder why the heck I ever kept the profession, but each time I was about to drop it someone told me better things were coming for it. Each time I have believed them and it turns out I shouldn't have.
I have yet to cap it and am not sure I want to. No one wants to buy my stuff and If I want better gear all I have to do is go to Naxx with my already gear pimped guild.
Hmmm, maybe I should go level mining instead after all.
May 6th 2009 2:44PM Hello she's way more uber that any of us are, her enchanting is probably 9000 or something. If she wants to enchant a pocket watch she can darn well enchant a pocket watch.
Apr 20th 2009 7:39PM Yeah I just did the exact same thing but it was 2 points.
Apr 7th 2009 3:24PM I feel so sappy! I cried watching this video! Good luck BRK and good for you for making the right choice. Oh and this also got me to post under my baby hunter's name :)
Feb 4th 2009 3:02PM HeHe I love this one! At least we know where little Jormungars come from. (As if we were wondering)
Jan 6th 2009 6:25PM "I will not participate in shoddy craftsmanship! Use the stencil!" hehe
Do I see Bladezz falling for someone? Hmmmm
Jan 5th 2009 1:29AM I am totally on board with this suggestion! The idea of RP is fascinating to me and I would love to be able to get into it. However I am clueless. I have rolled on an RP server a couple of times only to delete before I got above level 5! I feel so lost and like my ideas suck. It would be truly helpful to have some help on getting started.
Dec 12th 2008 1:26AM Ok you try creating a new craft every week. Add to that the fact that you have to take detailed pictures of it and create a witty post about it. Now narrow that down to a single category. Not as easy as it looks. Sometimes writing about someone else's crafts is a needed break. And unless that is the writer's personal Etsy shop then no it's not an advertisement.
Oct 27th 2008 4:33PM There is a reason I rolled on a PvE server. I don't like PvP. Call me weird if you want but I don't I am not a hardcore gamer, I play to relax. The whole zombie thing was not relaxing in any way.
It seems that blizzard may have shot themselves in the foot with this one. If I had logged on for the first time during this mess I would not have kept my account. And if they do something else like it I still might not.
I am trying to reach 70 before the release of wrath and I was unable to get much questing done in the last several days. I want to be able to play the new content along with my husband's character who is already 70. I am glad that the invasion is done and I hope it stays that way. All I was trying to do is get to a level where I can buy and play the new content.
