Feb 10th 2012 8:15PM I thought the first Warcraft games ARE RTS...
Dec 24th 2011 2:13PM I thought Lucas took the money from Episode IV to build "Industrial Light & Magic", which he used to do the special effects for episodes V and beyond.
Also, Lucas personally canvassed film production companies to find one that would give him exclusive rights over everything about the brand name. Fox just happened to be the sucker.
Dec 15th 2011 8:30PM Ooh! Ooh! Pick me!
Nov 4th 2011 2:14PM A Harrison Jones Temple of Doom complete with a RoundShort NPC and a broad that continually whines "Harryyyyyyyy"
Destruction of the Sunwell instance
The fall of Lordaeron
The fall of Dalaran (Or perhaps even the re-taking of it from Kel'Thuzad's scourge)
And since we have 'scenarios' upcoming, I wonder how feasible it would be to reenact parts of the Wars, such as the invasion of Stormwind in the First War... Possibilities are endless!
Oct 25th 2011 5:59PM During the battle yes, but at the END there is no bang. Simply Godfrey's pathetic whimper.
Oct 25th 2011 4:27PM This is how the season ends. Not with a bang, but with a whimper.
Oct 17th 2011 4:25PM Zanzil KO'd, but Vanessa suffers a bite from one of the zombies and is eventually turned into one of his minions. Zanzil wins.
Oct 12th 2011 7:41PM As I watched and helped the Argent Tournament be built (through gathering dailies), I was a bit disappointed that they didn't implement the "building" phases with towns that have recently been built or destroyed by the events of Cataclysm. For instance, Sentinel Hill became a fort overnight, as did Light's Hope Chapel.
One of the things that I have loved about the last two expansions are the launch events. While there are many that say they hated being pwned by a massive wave of ravenous zombies in their capitals, I for one loved it. It made me feel as if something major was happening. This was the same feeling I got from the Cataclysm event as well. You knew something major was about to happen to the world.
It's just the time lull that bothers me a bit. We're led into new events in a phased way with the launch events, at the end of an expansion, but there's not really any explanation as to why towns and forts just pop into existence. Are we supposed to pretend that they were there the whole time?
Oct 1st 2011 4:28PM With a haste buff that is almost always procced, it makes sense for arc mages to start prioritizing crit so they can recover mana from the critical hits between burn phases. I see this boosting DPS in a big way, as it raises the DPS "floor" between cooldown spikes.
