Guild Wars Nightfall larger than Azeroth? {Massively}

Jun 3rd 2010 3:36AM The problem was in that by doing wallwalking people could access places that weren't meant for players to go. Like unfinished zones, areas under zones etc.

Breakfast Topic: Who gets to grow up? {WoW}

Apr 17th 2010 2:22AM I simply wish they would update the character models in general. I know it's a big deal but it's something that is starting to bother me more and more. The models are getting a bit too outdated.

If not that then atleast they should update all the remaining faction leader models. Srsly.

And I would like to see them fixing all the small problems some races have like dwarfes clipping back and cloak or taurens holding their righthand weapon tilted more towards himself than the lefthand one.

The Colosseum: Athlete, paladin of Mug'thol {WoW}

Mar 15th 2010 2:09PM For the Horde! Lok'tar Ogar!

BlizzCon 2009: Cataclysm race-class combo matrix online {WoW}

Aug 22nd 2009 8:53AM Amaxe,

They learned it from the Argent Crusade. That's the most reasonable explanation I (and many others) have come to believe.

Which class gets invited as what? {WoW}

Aug 2nd 2009 7:53PM Our guild has 1 feral tank, 2 prot warrior tanks (one being me and the other being the warrior classleader), 1 prot paladin tank and so far not a single dk tank. Then again our server seems to be filled with warrior tanks. There's a lot more than on any other server I've played on. We also have 2-4 dps warriors per raid. I quess our guild just has an unnormal composition of classes and specs. Maybe our realm is something out of the ordinary.

One thing I do know that druids are great tanks. Our feral tank is pretty much maintanking every single boss in Ulduar. There isn't a fight where he wouldn't be good enough. Sure he has a good gear but he's just simply so much easier to keep up compared to other tanks. Part of it comes with the gear but mainly it's because of the feral druid's opdness. Not that I've anything against it. I'm fine doing the offtanking with my warrior.

The Queue: Dragon Slave! {WoW}

Aug 1st 2009 6:03AM Just yesterday me and my guildies spent about 20 wipes on the last boss trying to do it with 5 amber drakes to get ruby void and emerald void achievements on one go. To kill the boss with 5 amber drakes everything must go as planned and be very precise. After many good tries with boss killing us when having roughly 500k hp we got him down and got our achievements. Today we're probably going for amber void. I'm just a few achievements away from my red proto :).

I like the place even though it was my first kill on heroic just yesterday. The bosses in Oculus are a lot more complex in strategy than most of the other WotLK 5man bosses which makes the place refreshing though I'd never pug it again.

Officers' Quarters: Critical mass {WoW}

Jul 28th 2009 6:16PM One thing his guild needs to do is use the in-game calendar or an addon for the raid invites. Officers pick 25 people to attend the raid from those who have signed and then leave a few guys for standby. Then the people who have been chosen and the people set on standby will show up when it's time for the invites and then build a raidgroup from that group of people. Those who signed but didn't get the raidspots will have a priority for the next raid if they happen to sign. That way people who don't get the raidspots can't complain as long as there is a fair rotation and everyone who wants to raid will get to do so. Some will feel that they don't get to raid as much as they'd like and they will go looking for another guilds and that just helps your guild.

New guilds often end up doing mass invites and then taking a long time sorting out the good and the bad players. It's a phase in a guilds development. Many guilds also fall apart because of the drama caused by situations like these.

I myself am a new member on two different guilds which ended up having to recruit new people during the summer. Neither of the guilds did excessive recruiting and they're both holding up pretty fine. One has suffered from a bad lack of raids during the summer and I've still to see how things will turn out now that the holidays are almost over. The other has been pretty active even though we've only been able to fill two raids out of three each week. That has left many of the new members without any proper experience to the latter bosses in Ulduar which is a shame.

Mighty Battle: Warlock and Warrior Tier 9 sets {WoW}

Jul 25th 2009 1:38PM Is it just me, or does the next tier of horde's plate armor look like extremely bland. Especially the warrior set. It makes me tremble to think that I may actually have to wear that in the near future as we progress beyond Ulduar with our guild. I really like the design on t8 and the set has one of the few helms that look good on taurens. Our tier 8 really shouts out WARRIOR when you see it. When you move on to tier 9 it's like they take the war out of warrior and add spikes.

The Patches of Yesteryear: Patch 0.6 {WoW}

Jul 7th 2009 8:43PM It takes a lot more than 8 hours to get to full rested. I don't know the exact amount but it's more like days.
