Breakfast Topic: Does WoW light your creative fires? {WoW}

Jan 21st 2011 8:18AM It inspired me to begin my blog over a year ago and this week to begin some fan fiction. I'd love to be able to draw some characters too but I wouldn't know where to start on that one.

To be honest, I'd challenge people /not\ to be inspired by it. Even people who theorycraft are creating thousands of spreadsheets based on the game, it might not be everyone's idea of creativity, but they are certainly adding something to the community too.

Breakfast Topic: What's your proudest WoW moment? {WoW}

Jan 6th 2011 8:37AM Tanking ICC. My first full raid instance and my first tanking experience.
I felt like 'ZOMG IMMA TANK NAO!'. Didn't really feel qualified to say that until Sindragosa was dead. Still feel prouder of that than actually killing ole Arthas himself.

@Blayze - those tank moments are sweet. /salute Tank Corp!

Breakfast Topic: What's behind your character's name? {WoW}

Jan 5th 2011 8:18AM My original char was Hera after the Greek goddess, but Hera was taken/not available so I thought I'd stick something on the end and got Heranoth, seeing Noth as a corruption of 'north'. I've now got most of my characters named after Greek gods or goddesses or combinations of such names.

Except for Orcballs who will forever be the anomaly on my character screen.

The best of WoW Insider: March 2010 {WoW}

Dec 23rd 2010 5:53AM Worgen Like Me and Welcome to the Deadmines are both incredible. I still go back and watch them for a giggle.

Also, thanks for the gratuitous naked wolf boys. AwwwOOOooOOO!

Breakfast Topic: Not my rainbow gear! {WoW}

Dec 8th 2010 8:39AM As a bear we didn't see your clown suit. Quit whining start swiping!

Breakfast Topic: What zones have been shattered for the better? {WoW}

Dec 2nd 2010 8:53AM Badlands. Hands down. I mean come on!

You get to punch goats! Oh and some big dude with an iron jaw. And save a red dragon! What more could you want from a zone!

Breakfast Topic: Are real-life friendships more "real" than in-game friendships? {WoW}

Oct 3rd 2010 9:41AM I've met several of my guildies and I definitely consider them friends. During my recent marriage breakdown, they were there for me every single day and I'm sure we'll meet up again in the future for more boozey shenanigans. It's just like a larger extended network of friends, they might live a bit further afield, but it doesn't diminish the friendship.

Breakfast Topic: Earning your stripes {WoW}

Aug 9th 2010 8:26AM Anyone with

Loremaster (seriously, it's a grind, try it as a DK :/)
Insane in the Membrane
For The Alliance/Horde
The Exalted

gets respect.

Lichborne: Advice on Army of the Dead {WoW}

Jun 23rd 2010 8:01AM You can also use AoD on Ingvar in UK for the 2nd phase providing your tank is ok with it. It's a great tool to beat him up fast.

Thanks for another great article. I hope more people read these and understand that DKs aren't all a bunch of asshats.

Breakfast Topic: Strange habits {WoW}

Jun 13th 2010 9:28AM I always put my main to bed before I log off. Old habit from rested-XP and feeling safe in the inn whilst levelling.

I've also started to /dance on Saurfang's platform recently. It just looks like a big stage to me.

I've never wanted to do Higher Learning, but now I've seen that room I might have to.
