Jan 19th 2011 11:44AM "Basically, starting from 78 in Cataclysm threw off the leveling progression."
The starting zones felt mandatory to me. The faction reps can't really be ignored. Once you get through both starting zones you can basically skip Deepholm (except you'll miss Therazane rep). I found myself outleveling each zone I was in, and unable to skip anything.
Starting at 78 doesn't seem so impossible. It just seems like an arbitrary decision someone made.
Jan 13th 2011 5:23PM "...this means less people using the dungeon finder and longer queue times for those who have to wait."
I take that quote a little differently:
"...this means less (guilded tanks and healers) using the dungeon finder (without their guildies) and longer queue times for those who have to wait."
It'll disrupt the balance even further and leave a whole lot of unguilded dps in the queue alone.
Jan 13th 2011 5:18PM I think they're starting to send a pretty clear message:
1) If you're in the queue and you're not in a guild, enjoy the wait.
2) Seriously. Why aren't you in a guild?
If they give enough cheese I think the rats will do the math and figure this out. Either you play the game their way or you play another game.
I'm not sure how I feel about that.
Jan 13th 2011 12:27PM Budd yells: Ahoy!
Budd yells: I'm saaaailing!
Budd says: Out on a boat... way far away from the dock...
Budd says: Into the wind with the sky and everything...
Budd says: Oooh... shiny!
Budd jumps overboard!
You really think this guy is going to get you off the island alive? =)
Jan 12th 2011 3:25PM My recommendation: don't life tap. Just don't. Sit down and drink with the healer. Otherwise you get what you deserve =)

The article says "Read More". Like a sucker I clicked.
I thought there would be a chorus or something...
"whooooooosh bah bah bahh bah bahhhh BAH".... that's it?
Jan 12th 2011 12:04PM I'd love to see an arena healer read through this article and provide commentary. I think their perspective would be insightful. I don't think this change is about warlocks. It's about healers.
Jan 10th 2011 5:06PM @wow:
You're the nerd-raging control freak that screams orders at the start of every BG aren't you? You have a lot of alts because the name is always different, but I know it's you.
Jan 5th 2011 1:10PM "It would be nice if there were some way for the game to tell people what they often refuse to hear from other players."
I agree. Maybe script the trash to hit progressively harder each time you fail to use any form of cc. I know that's unlikely. Something more realistic: they could script the NPCs to trash talk the group (not just text -- actual voice acting -- people don't read in dungeons for some reason). I'd love to see an NPC trash talk after wiping the group because the group fails to use cc.
The game needs to give ongoing constructive feedback (at least in RDF where skill levels are so diverse). There are a lot of really thick players that choose to ignore the other people in their party. Maybe NPCs taunting them would help them get it.
