May 31st 2009 7:03PM I have and do both dps and tanking I personally prefer to DPS mostly cause there seems to be more competition for the top 5 of the dps charts. Im a melee DK dps and as any good plate wearing dps knows their job is to kill protect and die. A good plate dps will also offtank if needed make sure to protect their heals and even their range dps all while dodging aoe's blasting down adds and beating on the boss then when all is going to be lost jump in and pull adds off the casters even if it means they have to die for the good of the group. It's alot of work. Tanking you gotta keep aggro watch for positioning sometimes kite the mobs keep your damage low as possible save your cooldowns till the right moment have perfect timing and hope your heals are as good as you are. I'v never healed so i can't speak for the healers or range dps but im guessing they have their own challenges. The point is if your good at what you do they are all equally difficult / easy but like i said i prefer DPS cause it's actually very hard to find very good dps especially melee dps they are far and in between imo.
