The WoW Insider Show Episode 223: With guest Anne Stickney {WoW}

Dec 9th 2011 12:16AM If you want to fix the mess with the timelines. . . just have Thall punch reality!

Ghostcrawler details potential solutions for gear inflation {WoW}

Nov 4th 2011 4:27PM Rifts! I had flashbacks to Robotec (where they first brought out the MDC system) but back then it kind of did not feel as weird because that was human tec being "juiced up" by Robotech (thus Robotec weapons could damage Roboteched objects but normal "SDC" tec was gona get squashed)

Back then a 1-2 MDC shot was no big deal because that was still enough to junk most "light armor" objects like trucks.

Dev Watercooler: Ghostcrawler discusses massive changes to threat {WoW}

Aug 16th 2011 12:59PM "Enough that we’re planning to apply a hotfix this week to change how threat works"

"Here are the specific changes you’re likely to see: •Hotfix: The threat generated by classes in their tanking mode has been increased from three times damage done to five times damage done. •In an upcoming patch: Vengeance no longer ramps up slowly at the beginning of a fight. Instead, the first melee attack taken generates Vengeance equal to one third of the damage dealt by that attack. As Vengeance updates during the fight, it is always set to at least a third of the damage taken in the last two seconds. It still climbs from that point at the previous rate, still decays at the previous rate, and still cannot exceed the current maximum."

were added.

you need to replace your post. it sounded like all the changes were coming in amonth or so, not tonight.

they need to

The Lawbringer: What WoW can learn from other microtransaction models, part 2 {WoW}

Aug 12th 2011 7:04PM It might be a good idea if you never ever bring up EVE onlines currency system again, because otherwise people will be bringing up things like, oh, I dont know

The Lawbringer: What WoW can learn from other microtransaction models, part 2 {WoW}

Aug 12th 2011 4:44PM EvE online by comparison does not charge for its "expansions"

The Lawbringer: What WoW can learn from other microtransaction models, part 2 {WoW}

Aug 12th 2011 4:41PM Ok first things second

you can easily argue that we already have the microtransaction modle in play.

we pay a bundle price in expansions for what in other games you end up paying more for individual "packs" from the FTP games as oposed to paying for each new zone individualy

those "expansion packs" also give us limmited access to additional content after we buy them.

Blizzard drops "Glimpses" screenshot with 3 unknown NPCs -- possible patch or expansion hint? {WoW}

Aug 11th 2011 2:08PM Etherials in stormwind. . . meh.
Halsom the Transmorgifyer. . . someones been playing Fallout New Vegas:Old wold blues.
Void storage. . . ok why would we need to store Voidwalkers? or do they mean self negating storage(Ie a trashcan?)

The Daily Grind: Do you think Diablo III's RMT policy will affect MMOs? {Massively}

Aug 11th 2011 12:48PM @Decanus If there are save game and inventory editors then Bliz has one hell of a problem on its hands.

they have already said (repetedly) that EVERYTHING not needed to actualy render the game will be server side this time around, all you get is bascialy a mmo type client, the actual game code is going to sit on the server along with things like your inventory and your characters.

Enter at Your Own Rift: How gold farming really hurts the economy {Massively}

Aug 10th 2011 6:16PM Eves plex?

you do realise that according to CCP themselves one of the problems they have with it are stolen Credit cards used to buy plex.

the reality is that all that actualy happend was the hacking efforts steped up because the grey market had compitition and needed to sell more Isk per transaction to "compete" I think I saw an estimate that for every WOW accuont thats actualy hacked and striped, they have the login data on 20-30 more, partly because they need to be able to get gold to match a customer on a specific server and Blizzard has hundred of them.

The WoW Insider Show: Episode 205 {WoW}

Aug 9th 2011 8:42PM and if thats the case, MoP may very well be a completly new game line for WoW, It may be Warcraft IV(but granted it would be the most freaking odd name for a Warcraft strategy game) a new cross platform offline RPG game or who knows what its going to be right now (apart from the nuty guys at Bliz who are working on it because frankly you can draw almost any inference you want to from the madiory public fileins B/A puts out)
