Oct 19th 2009 11:35AM I know there are two that references that actually upset my friends when they didn't get it. The first one is the flower vendor in Dalaran named Aerith Primrose (based off of the Final Fantasy VII character)
The other is just a reference I have noted but it doesn't seem to see much of the light of day but in Un'goro crater with the Zelda, Mario and Donkey Kong reference, I noticed that there might being another nod to an NES game with the crystal quests. Each of the crystal colors matches the crystals in Final Fantasy I. But that just might be me. Ticked off two of my friends mentioning both since they are not really big JRPG fans. Me neither, but hey, whatever.

Jun 25th 2009 8:25PM This actually solves the situation a bit. The problem was that the gates were too weak and the general was WAY TOO WEAK. So the other side didn't really have the time to capture the hanger before the one controlling dropped players into the opposing base. This causes a problem though. A team has to decide whether they want to guard the base or charge the hanger. Also, another drawback is that the team that has the hanger tends to have the upper hand against the team that has the docks because the airship cannons can take out the seige vehicles with no problem. I found that one of the problems with dropping in was that you become pinned in. (Thankfully I play a druid, so stealth drops are no problem)
Overall, these are welcome changes.
Jun 17th 2009 9:58PM Hmmm, gathered from the information here, it would be safe to say that this patch will be on the PTR for at least five weeks before it is released on the live servers
