Aug 16th 2009 8:27AM Should the article title be "What Boss would "You" revamp for level 80?
Aug 4th 2009 7:18AM My point behind this comment was to show that Blizzard does not have a naming filter in place from the get-go.
I'm aware they don't go on a which hunt based on a single name, but that does not mean filter's should not be applied in certain situations. When it's allowed from day 1, it will simply fester and grow.
Aug 3rd 2009 12:35PM While I respect this article and many of it's posts, I want to drive a point home.
If the game was at all enforced most of the time like Blizzard would have us believe, why is it so many of us are forced to see such horrible conversations and names.
All things Chuck Norris aside, most of my toons have a full capacity Ignore list. Yet daily, the Org mailbox is packed with unwanted sexual messages in all chat channels, you get spammed with gold and mount offers every 5 minutes (despite them saying a "report spam" will "alert the GM community."
I understand Blizzard may have limited GM/Support numbers at certain times, but trying to report something that is truly a terrible scam and or event even at 6am server times always results in an 8 hour ticket window.
I will end with an example of how Blizzard fails from before a person can ever log-on.
I recently reported a level 80 toon with the name "Ugotaids" and was assured after a half day of waiting that they have a strict naming policy that is active and enforced.
One search of this name after that conversation showed 8 people using that name. Ranging from 10 to 80. Hard to convince the paying fan base that you are doing your best. There is no name filter for starters which is why so many gold seller/RMT players get through the system.
I leave this post with one last search for you all who may share my discomfort in seeing /yell messages 24/7 from idiots.
One even has the guild name "No Protection" so the fluke name argument goes out the window.

Jul 22nd 2009 2:59PM Aye, Pwnboxer handles all this in a single program. Much more efficient then using multiple programs to cover a variety of needs.
May 19th 2009 12:11PM Why is it that people assume that because "their" bug was not fixed and/or addressed that it's not something they are looking into?
I'm sure these things are easier said then done. Flaming on about how Blizzard didn't fix so-and-so bug but did a wtfninjapatch for art or something is lame.
Give them time to find, fix, and test the bugs before you run a muck on them.
