Jan 17th 2012 7:57PM So, way back when, Orcs used to be a shamanistic & primitive people.
Then the Draenei came.
The orcs were probably all "Wtf, mate?" but went with it, and taught the Draenei shamanism and were generally good neighbors.
Then the Draenei's enemy, the Burning Legion came, corrupted the orcs to get at the Draenei, and BLEW UP THE PLANET.
Draenei = bad news.

May 4th 2011 4:30PM The argument that they need these "premium" services to "sustain" their business is bogus. Just look at the profits Activision made from WoW last year. I don't advocate them being free, but don't lie about it being about sustainability. it's pure profit-grabbing.
P.S. The ability to faction change & server transfer in one transaction (With a discount would be lovely) would be most welcome.
Mar 10th 2011 1:21PM You're right in that there's no quest that demonizes homosexuality.
But you're wrong in saying there's no quest celebrating heterosexuality. There are numerous quests that focus on heterosexual relationships: Mankrik and his dead wife (where was she again?). The Guard in Redridge and the waitress in the inn. There are more examples of heterosexual couples in this game that I can count.
And for you, a heterosexual, this is normal. That is the way things are in your world, and you can easily identify with them.
However, as a homosexual, this isn't the way things work. Or rather, this is a more painful realization that this is how the real world is for us. We homosexuals are marginalized, treated as second-class citizens, and generally tried to be brushed under the rug, like we don't - or shouldn't - exist.
Why would it be so bad a thing, for there to be a few quests that have a few homosexual characters in it. (Besides the few titillating veiled references to lesbianism that were meant to appeal more towards the straight male.) Contrary to what the religious right-wing wants you to believe, we're not out to convert you. We just want to be treated the same as you guys are.
Mar 4th 2011 2:34AM AA points were "Alternate Advancement" points in EverQuest. You could designate a percentage of your EXP gain into AA to gain stat bonuses, new abilities, etc. A pre-cursor to the talent trees we all know and love.

Feb 8th 2011 11:59AM "Do you think at the end of Cataclysm we will truly kill Deathwing? Doesn't it seem a bit much to be able to kill the Aspect of Death?"
To be fair, Deathwing is the self-proclaimed "Aspect of Death." Neltharion, as he was originally known, was known as the Earth-warder, the Aspect of the earth. And as we saw with the death of Malygos, an aspect's death is not unprecedented.
