Mar 26th 2012 6:34PM Not to be slightly off topic or anything, but I've been maining warlock since vanilla and I don't understand why green fire would be *that* cool to take up development time that could be used for absolutely anything else. =/ Not that it wouldn't be cool; it's just not something I'd ever worry about.
Mar 23rd 2012 6:44PM Really glad you posted this. Their interpretation of that survey is not only wrong, it's dangerously wrong.
Even though anecdotal evidence points to their conclusions (I can only manage to be single for maybe a month at most before I meet someone in WoW I end up falling for and spending too much money to date >.>), the facts don't.
Feb 21st 2012 8:04PM I might have screamed loudly when I saw this. MIGHT HAVE
Feb 15th 2012 1:42PM I'm surprised no one has figured out that most people don't do it to trade the gear later, but to assure that no one else gets to use the gear... That's by far the most common explanation I've heard.
Feb 14th 2012 12:37PM I wonder how fast this (and this!) will be gray...
Is it a dick move? Yes. Will almost everyone else in your lfr be doing it? Yes. Will doing it increase your chances of getting gear you need? Yes.
Feb 11th 2012 8:42PM And Binding Heal? But yeah it would be interesting if there were more of these.
Feb 10th 2012 3:34PM They're selling like hotcakes on ebay for $20-25 (like 15-20 a day!). If I lived near one, I'd be making mad bank. Instead, I'll just be paying for them. :(
Feb 9th 2012 5:16PM There's no way mop won't come out in 2012, so starcraft is definitely being pushed back.
Feb 9th 2012 5:13PM Yeah I agree, but I'm think it'll go back up over 10mil for MoP, although I doubt we'll ever see 11 again or even 10.5.
Feb 7th 2012 10:00AM I like to think I pump out the necessary levels of sass and crass to keep people from getting too comfortable with their position or skill level. It's important role imo because complacent raiders are bad raiders. When I'm doing my job well, I guess I'm the sniper... let your guard down and I'll shoot you straight through the heart. Or head or groin or whatever I can hit. Part of it is logging fights and being able to go through the expression editor quickly enough to clear up exactly why we wiped and whose fault it was and make them feel bad enough not to do it again. And keeping up on theorycrafting for a lot of specs so I can vomit knowledge in people's faces when they're wrong. I must do an okay job of it because everybody generally likes me (and I generally like them)...
I also rarely talk in vent during raids (I like to relax and chime in only occasionally in raidchat), so I guess I'm a dark horse to those who don't hang around outside of main raids.
And I keep the guild bank's alchemy tab organized. So there's that.
