Patch 4.3: Worgen racial mounts {WoW}
Sep 1st 2011 2:35PM It makes practical sense that that would avoid QQ from allies wanting something unique for a Worgen racial mount. However, you'd have to face the endless QQ from the Horde that they have to become exalted with a newer faction to get two mounts and the alliance gets two additional mounts not tied to a newer faction.
The point is, you can't win in any scenario here. People just need to lighten up.

Though there is no setting in the stock UI to do this automatically, but some addons like Outfitter can do it. I have mine set to show helm when I'm wearing my "Fishing" gear. I also have my helms hidden by default in capitals, regardless if I display them "in the field" or not. Once I setup the outfit, it's all automated.
