Jan 17th 2011 5:24PM I both love and hate boss remixes. They are definitely fun, but every time I fought Jaraxxus after watching that I had the song going through my head - once you hear it as the remix, you can't really hear it and NOT hear the song!

Jan 11th 2011 12:39PM "Shifting Perspectives continues its guide to gearing up a restoration druid and talk gems, enchants and glyphs for the balance druid in your life."

I've been very much enjoying the balance druid articles, now that I've made the switch over to balance on my main. The general overview of enchants, and especially glyphs, was really nice!

Jan 7th 2011 11:45PM Tyler, doesn't hit technically effect your treants while spirit does not?

Regardless, I'm going with spirit for my resto offspec :)

Oct 22nd 2010 9:13AM Ewwwwww, what a completely pig-headed, chauvinistic, archaic guild. I wish you would share the name so I can avoid them!

Reader UI of the Week: Maritime's UI {WoW}

Aug 24th 2010 7:58PM I bounce back and forth on this. You have to understand, in some ways it's actually *increasing* your screen size - yes things are smaller, but you actually have a *larger* field of view with a viewport due to the widescreen effect.

Now, I would not ever leave it black as in this UI - I personally find that pretty flat and unappealing. I would at least drop Skinner in there to give it a gradient of some kind, or use one of the many art addons like BTex or Sunart to make it pretty. By combining UI elements in one place and using the viewport, you really can get more out of your screen.

At the same time, it makes the objects in the game world a bit smaller. My monitor is pretty small so I'm constantly going back and forth between using a viewport and not. >_
