Sep 24th 2010 8:36PM So I heard that heirlooms are costing more than the equivalent amounts of justice points on the PTR, so I am wondering if this is the case for all items that are currently bought with emblems? For example, on the PTR do tier 10 shoulders that currently cost 60 EoF cost more than (60x2.75)=165 Justice Points?
Sep 18th 2010 7:32PM I have a question about Mastery. From what I have heard its pretty well implemented in the Beta, but I am wondering about one thing in particular. If I remember correctly Blizzard initially intended Mastery to be something that made people have a reason to wear their best type of armor. (i.e. warriors and hunters not using leather gear because it was BiS due to the stats it had and what they wanted for their spec.) So I am wondering if this is still involved in Mastery somehow? From what I have heard it is just a stat like any other, which would lead me to believe it won't change anything about people sometimes wearing a lower class of armor, if anything it might further it because someone might want a lower class or armor because it has more mastery and their mastery bonus is really nice. Am I missing something or did they kind of scrap the idea of Mastery effecting you wearing the best class or armor you can?
Jul 24th 2010 3:35PM @Alex I am moving to Milwaukee in a couple of weeks and I chose Thursday as the day to come visit it and look at apartments for the first time! Definitely an adventure! When we looked at our apartment on Friday the building manager was apologizing that they had like a tiny bit of water by one of the windows and we kept saying, really if that's all the water that came in after all that craziness, then I think we'll be just fine!
Jul 19th 2010 12:01PM I have a couple questions about Cataclysm changes.
Is armor class still a requirement for mastery like they had initially intended? Like will Hunters have a reason to stick with mail because of mastery?
Also, with the changes to loot in 10 and 25 mans in Cataclysm, will a 10 and 25 version of the same boss have the exact same loot table? Or will they have different loot that is just of the same item level?
Jul 16th 2010 8:01PM So I'm wondering what the plan is with mastery and armor type? I haven't heard any updates on this and I want to see if classes are still going to get some sort of mastery bonus from wearing the right type of armor for their class, or if this too has been replaced by the mastery 'stat' on gear?

Jul 12th 2010 11:31AM I was wondering if there are any sort of attunement quests or keys we need for any of the Cataclysm dungeons. Mostly I am wondering about Uldum. I just did the quest, on a druid I am leveling for Cata, where you take the plates you found in Uldaman to the gates of Uldum to see what they do, and you are told you are missing part of the 'key' which is lost somewhere. So I am wondering if Blizzard is going to remember this old quest, and make us find said plates to get into Uldum, or if the door is just going to be blasted open by the Cataclysm or something like that?
Jul 10th 2010 10:49AM I have a couple questions about the new mastery and talent changes. First, are we still getting mastery benefits from being in the right class of armor? Otherwise I'm thinking with Hunters probably not needing Intellect anymore rogue gear is going to be that much more intriguing (for example).
Also, if we are going to get an 'iconic' class skill from our first point in a talent tree, won't that leave us having the 'iconic' spells from two trees at level 85 when we have points in multiple trees? I mean maybe this will work out and be alright, but if I were a warrior who was any spec but prot, I wouldn't want to waste a point in prot getting Shield Slam (their example) just to get further into the tree. Maybe a bad example, but you get the idea.
May 20th 2010 12:09AM So here's a possibly noobish UI query. I have been working a lot on my UI's recently and love seeing this column every week for new ideas. Currently I'm playing with putting my map in new places on the screen with a warrior I'm leveling and I've run into a bit of a problem: The Blizzard Quest Tracking element. I use Sexymap and my current set up has the map in the middle of my screen (which I like) but the Quest Tracker moves with it and now when I have it open (which, when leveling a character like I am I like to do fairly often) it's literally in the middle of my screen, almost top to bottom...
So, is there a way to turn this off (and I would prefer entirely, not just minimizing it since I know how to do that) or maybe even better is there a way I can have my minimap in the middle but the quest tracker element still on the side of the screen? Thanks!
