Cataclysm Class Changes: Shaman {WoW}

Apr 7th 2010 5:11PM I was really stoked by Spiritwalkers Grace, but I have a certain feeling that with all Damage being Nature based shaman might get the shaft in this expansion, because of Elementals having the nasty habit of being immune to it.

Sounds outright evil to collect Attackpower for Enhancers or Spellpower for Elementals and hit for absolutely nothing...Except white hits.

Please blizz less immunities please?

Paladins loved Naxx, make Shamanslove the Cataclysm!

Breakfast Topic: What do you want from your faction leader? {WoW}

Sep 22nd 2009 6:53PM Finally!

The Horde is getting their own Idiot in Charge!

Now we will AFK and still win in AV...

Zerging on the Street will become Daily Quest in Orgrimmar.

Wait what am I advocating?

Garrosh got me the dumbs.

[Updated] No Wolpertinger and Pink Elekk quests for Europe {WoW}

Sep 22nd 2009 6:28PM We´ll some facts about the german drinking age are a little overboard.

You can buy beer and whine at the age of 16, liqour and higher alcoholic volumes may be bought at the age of 18.

Same goes for cigarettes (18) up from 16 years.

While we do have the jump from a bridge drunk and don´t die achievement as well as the dance in drunk in dalaran achievement, I can assume the pink elek´s were reminding of harder drugs than alcohol and got shafted.

In this case it might just have been germany, since the elections are coming and everyone tries to find some Nebenkriegsschauplatz to score some undecided votes.

All the World's a Stage: The new character experience in Cataclysm {WoW}

Aug 31st 2009 3:52AM As an altoholic I approve of the new Race/Class combos.

As an Questhater I´m still intrigued about the new World and willbe visiting all new Zones with spanking new Chars.

I still like Outland, though I´d confess I´m more off a windowshopper at best, minmaxing my Playtime in Northend and bitching about it on vent...

Arcane Brilliance: What Cataclysm will mean to Mages, part 2 {WoW}

Aug 31st 2009 3:47AM I think Reforging willbe used quite often 2: 1 Ratio or even 4:1...

Having some 50+ Junkstat on your gear and turning it into Junk/2 Awesome-Stat will be very nice.

Your healy Traousers will be changing from ok-Int and massive heal to ok Int plus half massive... well Int, Crit whatever?

I do hope the Blacksmith does not need to learn the Reforging stats individually, but rather get a stat chaging screen, where you can allocate awesome!

Are there bad talents? {WoW}

Jul 30th 2009 5:14AM I think lightwell is misused by most healers and in return rightfully loathed by other players.

I remember a holy priest offering nothing but the lightwell for groups.

Which is hilarious at first but a pain in the rear being dotted up and diyingon the way to the well because its standing inthe castergroup, too far away for most melee to reach alive, arriving there, bandaging also, diying nonetheless.

If you are using lightwell and not dispelling bad stuff, or giving out a short minor heal for those movement impaired (by debuffs) on the way to the well, you are not a good healer!

WoW, Casually: Playing with your reading-age child {WoW}

Jul 30th 2009 4:54AM Interesting Article, controverse nonetheless...

As a father I can undertatnd some valid arguments for and against gaming with pre-teen kids.

While WoW offers some nice mini games like fishing and collecting Mats, or even Peggle, I am still not being enthusiastic about my child playing.

While my daughter obviously enjoys stifff getting polymorphed, or flying around, I would not have her playing alone for various reasons.

Some critics argue the game is 12+ which is true, but remember this is the age at which WoW should be playable unsupervised!

I would love love to see that being recognized by players ingame, grieving other players, creating lv1 Toons to call them names, or littering the tradechannel with sexist/racist remarks.

Officers' Quarters: On the brink {WoW}

Jul 20th 2009 1:44PM I would rather call two Ulduar 10mans during the summer, than postponing, or calling the night on 25mans.

On the other hand, pugging in the summertime can lead to new recruits.

For gearing the new members, why don´t you bring up the alts of your core raiders?
Less equip wasted and more functional raiding chars instead off malequipped off-specs.
When a Tank is missing due to RL issues-take the well equipped tank instead of the Ret-pally who refuses to take a shield even in off-spec!

This might help getting the core of your guild socialize more with the recruits since they will both want equip from old Naxx (even though I might stress that the first Equip should have a slightly higher significance than alts/twinks...).

good luck

Warrior Q&A Analysis continued {WoW}

Jul 16th 2009 6:04PM I recently rerolled as a Warrior (Arms), my intention was to keep up Woundeffect Dots etc while levelling, as not to kill my rotation as a Muti Rogue/Feral Druid/Shadow Priest and the mandatory `Lock.

I was shocked when I was getting the results in forms of sub-par DPS, even though being at least trained/ used to keeping debuffs up all time.

As much as I like my new shiny "soldierly" Warrior, I have to say the experience was somewhat... Underwhelming?

Rage is always an issue, as long as Ret-Paladins do considerably more damage in PvE while staying a Powerhouse in PvP.

Two Bosses Enter: Ley-Guardian Eregos vs. Loken {WoW}

Jul 16th 2009 11:42AM @Mutak: I disagree, b/c whenever Eregos pushes Loken back (by hitting him) he gets Damage.

He won´t be able to kill Loken by pulling punches.

The Ads die horribly and Loken resumes guarding Azeroth (for whatever that is worth for its inhabitants).
