Nov 12th 2010 10:23PM Sigh - I did these quests and I'm still bored...
I miss the zombies T T
Feb 11th 2010 8:57PM I think it's often overlooked that the majority of the changes to the Old World are not dependent on purchasing the expansion. I would expect that we will see many of the old zones slowly evolve as a lead-up to the actual release.
I think the invisible "shaker" npcs are just the beginning - who knows when that tsunami is going to hit Darkshore, or volcanos may start erupting in the Barrens. I would lay a sizeable amount of gold that the world is NOT going to change overnight.
May 20th 2009 12:24AM Wow... color me impressed. no clue this was about to happen.
Love the new site and can't wait to try out the add-on.
Apr 14th 2009 10:07AM Absolute stupidity. I use this app for my Mac and Windows installs, and it makes it incredibly easy to keep everything up to date.
The only alternative is broken, out-dated, or flat-out non-existent software made by the sites in question. This is not the way the free market works.
I also like the complaint about how it's stealing from the authors by having a donation button and ads in WoWMatrix? You mean it's stealing from your websites and revenues.
The community should be in an uproar about this... time to start a #wowinterfacefail campaign.
Mar 3rd 2009 8:42AM I think there is a place for some decent cross-cultural emotes in-game, especially on PVE servers. It wouldn't be too hard to do a /peace emote, or a /teamup. Some of the most fun I had in the game was pre-BC, when I was working on the elite dragons in the Steppes and coordinated pretty well with a Horde Shaman.
I think there is some potential for entire zones to be non-factional and support cross-communication. The Isle was one of those spots, since we were all fighting on the same side, it would have been interesting to actually be able to party and team-up with the other side.
Feb 17th 2009 8:36AM I swear that missing mail is still turning up every few maintenance cycles. I always find 2-3 pieces of mail with no AH info or anything else, just some gold attached.
Feb 10th 2009 3:52PM When did this happen? I've been lugging around these totems forever and I don't remember this tip showing up anywhere. I wonder how many players are in the same boat.
This should be one of those loading screen tips >.>
Feeling noobish now...
Jan 26th 2009 8:11PM @Elstor It doesn't work if you are specced "Improve Mend Pet".
Jan 26th 2009 9:28AM I would stay in Outland as long as possible, why...
Every quest you don't do in Northrend is that much more gold that's going to end up in your pocket. Not only will you be able to rip through the Outland content faster as your level increases, you can probably hit 71-72 there before going to Northrend.
Which in turn increases the speed of your leveling in Northrend.
Yes, it may be faster overall to move to Northrend earlier, but I much prefer the cash.
Jan 12th 2009 9:07AM Most embarassing moment wasn't entirely my fault...
We were working on figuring out how to down Rag (back when MC was 'new' content), and the raid leader wanted to see if pets could help tank some of the sons. We ended up wiping, and while prepping for the next attempt the hunters were rezzing their pets.
My boar had died right at the base of Rag, and somehow when it despawned as part of the rez process, it caused Rag to aggro. Since everyone was still in the middle of prepping, or was AFK, that was another wipe.
I felt like an idiot, even though 4 other hunters managed to rez their pets with no issue, and half the guild saw Rag 'bug' from the rez.
