BloodRayne: Betrayal launching in the last week of August {Joystiq}

Jul 14th 2011 9:14PM Hey, Bloodrayne 2 didn't suck. Bloodrayne one, yeah, but the second one was rather entertaining.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon screens are exactly what meets the eye {Joystiq}

May 4th 2011 8:09PM @rambo8 War for Cybertron is easily the best transformers game made, which undersells it quite a bit. The game's got a pretty solid online mode, and the single player's not bad either. I would definitely recommend it, especially for the 25 bucks they're asking for on amazon.

Brink trailer offers a master class on classes {Joystiq}

May 4th 2011 7:52PM @Darge Weapons don't seem to be tied to classes, and there are quite a few options for weapons in the game, including the ability to customize them. Just because they haven't shown off sniper rifles does not mean that they don't exist in the game. A lot of the videos don't show off people carrying around mini-guns or grenade launchers but they certainly exist in the game.

Probably Not the Wii 2, Part III: Come on, 'Feel' the Nintendo {Joystiq}

May 2nd 2011 7:14PM Most cellphones with Haptic Feedback, to my knowledge, don't actually change the texture of the phone. You press something on the touch screen and the phone vibrates a little, so it kind of vaguely feels like you're touching an actual key. I really wouldn't care for that feature in a game controller.

Breakfast Topic: Care to share any recent embarrassing moments? {WoW}

Mar 21st 2011 9:02AM Had something similar happen to me recently. I'm BoT with my new guild, trying to make sure that I don't make myself out to be a fool in shiny purples. We're pulling trash in the room before Double Dragons and I start babbling some gibberish because I almost pull a group of adds after getting knocked back by the fire elemental and I don't want to be pegged as "That well geared DPS warrior who pulled the entire trash room in BoT" with my new guild.

I heroic leap back to the stairs before I land near the trash mob and pat myself on the back. Ten seconds later I hear on vent "What is that noise?" "I have no idea". It's at this point I realize my vent mic has been stuck open for who knows how long and I've just ended up speaking all sorts of nonsense in my guild vent because I panicked.

Could have been worse though, I could have been the tank that fell into the lava five minute earlier.

Tuesday Morning Post: In the still of the night edition {WoW}

Mar 1st 2011 8:09AM @Rhett I have no idea what you're getting at. It's not a battle rez, but it is? It follows the exact same restrictions and has pretty much the exact same result as both abilities. It's a battle rez in pretty much every definition of the phrase.

Tuesday Morning Post: In the still of the night edition {WoW}

Mar 1st 2011 7:06AM DKs getting a Battle Rez also seems like a significant mention amongst the other developments in the 4.1 PTR.

Devil May Cry movie rights acquired by Screen Gems {Joystiq}

Mar 1st 2011 4:23AM @wcarnation Kitamura didn't do the cutscenes for Devil May Cry 3, although he did direct the cutscenes for Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes. Yuji Shimomura, the man who directed the fight scenes from Kitamura's Versus, and also the very bad Death Trance, directed the cutscenes in Devil May Cry 3. Still, Kitamura wouldn't be a bad choice, he does have a knack for directing great fight scenes and his last movie WAS an American movie.

The Care and Feeding of Warriors: Patch 4.1 PTR Warrior changes {WoW}

Feb 26th 2011 8:04PM There's one last change you forgot. Raging Blow is getting increased back to 120 percent to help make up for the DPS loss from the CS nerf.

The Care and Feeding of Warriors: Fury Talents {WoW}

Feb 5th 2011 8:37PM Death Wish DOESN'T increase the damage we take, at least not with Glyph of Death Wish. If you have Death Wish without the glyph you kind of deserve taking the extra damage.
