Apr 4th 2012 5:38PM I've got a battleworn thrash blade too, but you have to admit the 1 proc per min seems quite low especially when you see how little damage it does.

Apr 4th 2012 1:20PM Your timeline seems pretty close to mine. My current wild ass guess puts Mists in stores the 2nd week of August.

It's safe to say there will be no ruby sanctum. That was pretty much a waste of development time for them. Few people did that raid or enjoyed it.

The key to keeping your guild together is building personal connections. They'll keep playing if they enjoy spending time with each other even when there's nothing new to do in game.

Apr 4th 2012 1:12PM Since it's been confirmed that tanking monks will be using agility leather gear without 'tanking' stats on it, here's my question...

How will dps stats be used by monks to gain tanking benefits?

The druid model is that mastery makes your absorbs bigger, crit makes them happen more often, and haste makes you generate more rage (and get reforged into dodge).

Secondary question... Is there any chance 'surge' will be added to the game, coppied from swtor? Surge is a secondary stat that makes your critical hits more powerful. It's interesting because it becomes more valuable the more crit chance you have.

Finally, if you were a baby pony living in Ponyville, could you get your cutie mark from playing WoW? If so, what would it look like?

Apr 3rd 2012 4:47PM I hate how all the fancy clothes I put on my undead turn into riped up rags. This is the exact same issue. Would be nice to have in interface button where I can toggle my clothes to look exactly the same on me as they would on a living human.

Breakfast Topic: Sightseeing in Pandaria {WoW}

Apr 2nd 2012 8:14AM I got a beta invite, but it'll take me a few weeks to finish downloading 18 gigs of beta client. I try to spread it out a bit so my internet service provider dosn't flag me as an excessive user and throttle my internet access. Yes, they do that even though they don't tell you they do.

So only 299,998 other people are competing for your quest mobs.

The Light and How to Swing It: Major AoE healing changes in the Mists beta {WoW}

Apr 1st 2012 5:37PM I prefer focusing on raid healing instead of tank healing, so I've been playing a holy priest this expansion (was a druid in WotLK). With the Panda changes, I think I'll be playing a holy paladin once this goes live.

Apr 1st 2012 12:35AM He answered the question I asked. I would prefer that leather tanks get their own armors, but the answer given appears to be correct.

The result of this will be heavy demand for agility leather as it becomes the gear for 7 class/spec combinations, passing the old leader of 5 class/specs wanting dps plate. It will result in rogues directly competing for gear with 2 of the 5 tanks, lowering their desirability in raids and groups.

Regarding the guardian and brewmaster tanks having to wear poorly itemized gear, I expect their passive defenses will have to be balanced around that as bears currently are.

Mar 30th 2012 11:51PM Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. I got my beta invite, but I'm going to wait a month or two and let things settle a bit first.

Mar 30th 2012 11:00PM I'm one of those people that wants simply to enjoy a playable demo and not playtest a buggy mess.

Mar 30th 2012 4:02PM Question

Do guardian bears and brewmaster monks get their own leather gear, or do they still wear rogue/feral stuff?

Also, are monks going to overtake paladins as the most played class in wow?
