Arcane Brilliance: More questions than answers {WoW}

Jun 28th 2009 4:31AM then why the hell are you here reading his column? leave if all you bring is negativity and no constructive criticism, especially seeing how all of his points were legit, and I was thinking the exact same thing when i read that joke of a Q&A.

Arcane Brilliance: Highly ineffective! {WoW}

Jun 14th 2009 12:29AM Dude- we are MAGES, you don't want QQ- then read lichborne or the light & how to swing it. You must be a warlock, i think they're the only people who hate our QQ. (hey if you say that "mages are doing fine, stop QQing" maybe they'll buff warlocks eh?)

I've been waiting for someone to raise the obvious arcane bloat to blizzard but they seem to be somewhat oblivious to this. Good article BTW.

Breakfast Topic: Is Blizzard wasting their time? {WoW}

Jun 10th 2009 3:50AM I personally love the fact that Blizzard puts in pop culture references and in-jokes, that's a company that I can justify handing over $20 each month for. I play a mage, so we aren't without our own problems (blink anyone?) but I prefer a more personal Blizzard than one that is purely focused on the classes, instead of the environment.

I don't mind that we aren't at 100 yet, it'll be all the better when we get there. I particularly like the grey & white items, which contain the most interesting items in the game, like the dalaran coins, and the fish main hand weapon.

Breakfast Topic: Cross-character consistency {WoW}

Jun 6th 2009 8:27PM good jesus.

Arcane Brilliance: Mages are fine! Now fix us. {WoW}

complain somewhere else please, we're happy complaining and conferring here.

Thankyou :)

May 30th 2009 10:09PM As euripedes once said

"Imagine a buffet. There are three tables overflowing with food. Your host tells you “You can eat anything you see before you. Anything at all. Except you can’t eat anything from the table on the right. Or the table in the middle, for that matter.”

You ask your host “Why? Why can’t I eat from those two tables?”

Your host looks around awkwardly, then takes off his hat, pulls a rabbit out of it and says “IT’S FUZZY!” then buffs warlocks."

Why do we have to have useless talents on the way to a mandatory talent (TTW) why not shuffle it so its first tier, or make cool talents (like prismatic cloak or improved blink) instead of arcane subtlety or arcane fortitude (let's face it, that is the one talent no-one takes) I'm not saying don't have useless talents, because every class does, but why should we have nowhere to go and be boxed into this talent, because otherwise we can't perform in a raid or whatever - i like blastwave, i like icy veins, i like precision, but no - i am force to spend it on magic attunement?

The point is, why have trees that are useless in something and mediocre in something else. That is all.

May 30th 2009 9:50PM i know that you're joking here, but an interesting idea i found on the massive mage questions thread was the idea of every tree getting an elemental. I think that would be interesting, but sound like it would upset frost- Alot. personally, i'd like to have a lava spawn or something following me around, it would help quell the ulduar dps whines :)

May 30th 2009 8:24PM what about a shield that absorbs damage for a time, and then sends it right back at the caster when you cast fireblast or something? Kinda like incanter's absorbsion, but better :) like the piccie belt!
