The Queue: Stonecore frustrations {WoW}

Jan 26th 2011 6:03PM Here's another..

Does anyone know which flying mount has the least amount of "bobbing" in their flying animation? I hate the frikken bobbing. Maybe it's an inner-ear thing or a brain tumor or whatever, but watching my proto-drake bob up and down gives me motion sickness after a while. The dragon hawks are especially bad.

I have the mechanohog and I'm working towards the trike for ground mounts. I love the smooth ride. Anyone know anything like that for the air? I'm not an engineer, so the choppers are out.

Drama Mamas: The case of the gold-selling guildie {WoW}

Jan 14th 2011 4:48PM Can't say that I agree with this. I wouldn't go to my lieutenant and tell them this private is sleeping on watch. I would slap the private and tell him to stop sleeping on watch.

Either way. It seems to me like you have 4 choices.

1. You decide to condone it.
2. You ask him to stop using the guild's cooldowns, etc for personal business and take up a collection to help him get some game time.
3. You ask him to stop using the guild's cooldowns, etc for personal business. Where he finds the game time is his business.
4. You boot him for being shady about the whole thing.

Pick one and go with it, but don't push the responsibility to someone else. Be a man (or woman) and tell them yourself.

Mar 26th 2010 11:15AM Come one guys, you're making a monkey out of a mole hill here. I'm sure once he gets all his ducks on the road, everything will be fine. No need to jump to confusions.

For all intensive purposes this post is still accurate.

The Daily Blues {WoW}

Mar 16th 2010 11:53PM I just did 4.2k dps on a 4 mob pull in h-fos beating out 2/3 of the dps. I'm a off spec prot paladin in mostly badge gear, a couple 232 icc heroic pieces and a couple icc 10 pieces. Nothing special.

You have to admit.. that's a lot of dps.

Cataclysm: Stat and system changes for healing priests {WoW}

Mar 3rd 2010 9:09PM "You really don't have much to worry about. Either Blizzard will redo the stats for all existing gear, OR by level 81 or 82 you'll be able to get comparable quest greens that'll do the job and have the right stat allocation. The next expansion always makes end game gear from the previous version obsolete before you hit level cap."

Not true. Blizzard stated before the launch of WotLK that one of the failings of TBC was the replacement of end game epics right out of the gate. They changed that in wrath. Tier 6 wasn't replaced until Naxx.

Safe to say that frost emblem gear will be the last tier of gear. I doubt we'll be replacing most of it until the entry level raid of Cataclysm.

Just my two cents.

Breakfast Topic: If you could redo features in Wrath, what would they be? {WoW}

Mar 3rd 2010 10:12AM Wow, that's a really cool idea.

If anyone has ever used any recent versions of adobe products (photoshop, flash, dreamweaver, etc), they give you the ability to break out each piece of the application into modules.

So for Photoshop, you could break the canvas out, the tools, the image layers, etc and drag them where you liked them the best. You could then save that configuration as a "workspace".

I think this would transfer to WoW very well. You could have a main display module, but then you would have the options to break out other parts of the UI and drag them where you wanted them on your desktop. Windowed Full-Screen mode seems like it would support this very well.

Great suggestion.
