Nov 27th 2009 11:52AM When I've done everything.
When I've leveled a character of every race and class, but not necessarily every possible combination...
When I've mastered every profession at some point...
When I have every single possible achievment obtained...
When I've beaten a game that is, in a practical sense, unbeatable...
I will stop playing.
Nov 21st 2009 3:43PM Moon Guard has a bad reputation? That's news to me. I've been playing on the server for a few months now, and it's one of the most RP intensive servers out there, and the non-rpers and rpers tend to leave each other alone.
Oct 30th 2009 5:15PM And what about the dwarves?! It's discrimination against the vertically-challenged races!
Oct 30th 2009 3:17PM They're coming in Cataclysm, remember, and they've always been around. Just not playable.
Oct 17th 2009 2:09AM Yes, the Lich King (and Arthas by extension) is one of the most iconic villains in the history of the Warcraft universe.
He is also one of the most horrific.
Think back to the deeds you've witnessed him commit personally, and the terrifying actions carried out by those under his direct control.
My view? After having so much taken away from us throughout Wrath, after being tricked and tortured in both mind and body, let us, the players, do one truly good thing:
Kill this bastard, and make sure he stays dead.
Sep 14th 2009 11:11PM The greatest moment of love I've ever felt was when I was doing the quest to get my Paladin's Charger. I had decided that I would do the long, epic quest, even though I could just get my mount at 61 and be done with it.
I had some guildies help on acquiring the gold for some of the quests, but one moment of generosity sticks out over the others. I was desperately searching for an Azerothian Diamond; there were none available on the Auction house, and my guildmates and I had only an hour left to finish the quests before we had to log off. When I put my request up on the trade channel, another player offered me a trade. It was another level 80 paladin, and I was dumbstruck when she gave me the Diamond for free. She said good luck, and rode off. That brought a few tears to my eyes.
With the final preparations finished, my group headed to Scholomance and kicked that Death Knight's sorry ass. After several consecutive hours of travel, fighting, and buying, my friends and I celebrated with a weary cheer and a profuse thanks from myself before logging off. I stayed on a few more minutes, reveling in the beauty of my Charger and the titanic effort that had gone into obtaining it. I cried tears of joy, and felt a deep love for all mankind at that moment.
Sep 14th 2009 8:32PM That was so freaking adorable, my brain exploded into candy.
Aug 30th 2009 6:29PM Don't you mean killing two birds with one massive explosion?
Aug 27th 2009 9:31PM Thassarian is freaking BADASS, in addition to being an awesome person in general. Although you first see him in the DK starting area (where he is essentially the only Death Knight to display any sort of compassion whatsoever) you can then find him in the Borean Tundra, where you find him amongst a massive number of slain cultists as he slowly tortures the lich occupying a scourge ziggaraut. A quote: "I won't be able to fend off a full scale attack [from a scourge citadel] here. Or maybe I would... but I'd rather not find out."
Also, his ghoul minion Lurid is 500 times more awesome then the standard DK ghoul. I wish I could have a Lurid...
Aug 26th 2009 10:26PM That was simply amazing.
