Oct 15th 2010 9:29AM I have switched my main to a Prot warrior in the last 3 months, and I have really enjoyed it. Along the way I have been able to gear a decent fury set (5-6k) in heroics. Since the patch I have not even specced into a dps tree. Mostly my time has been spent relearning not to spam cleave in heroics every GC, explaining that AOE threat is not what it was last week, and asking DPS to give me at least 2 seconds before they unleash. After being very frustrated with tanking Tuesday and into Wednesday, it is starting to grow on me. I appreciate that I have to work again at AOE tanking. It isn't impossible if DPS cooperate. I have grown to really love my shield and getting hit in the face. There still isn't a class that can touch me on Single target threat.
For those tanks that are frustrated a word of advice... TANK SLOWER. This might seem odd, but think about your abilities. Think about what needs to be used. And think of Shield Block as an offensive ability since it doubles Shield Slam damage. Prot is still good. Fury and Arms will come back, just be patient.
Aug 10th 2010 5:48PM What about someone that is a minister, who gets to balance church, hospital visits, camps, trips, and family along with raiding. I was actually introduced to the game just after BC launched by some kids in my student ministry. Now I am sporting eight 80s, with another on the way up.
Mar 23rd 2010 4:42PM I think these changes will add to the quality of the podcast, and allow for listeners to get an hour of content. Connection issues, pauses, and other problems can be edited out. This is a win for the audience. Many might not like the idea of getting rid of the chat channel, but once again it will add more time for actual content besides being "derailed" by the chat channel.
Jun 3rd 2009 8:10AM For someone with three lvl 80s, i would def enjoy being able to start a toon at a higher lvl. The 1-50 grind is so boring now, but i enjoy playing different classes. To me it multiple toons are not alts, but they give me a different aspect of the game. If it were not starting toons at a higher lvl, than i would enjoy a cosmetic set. I hate when gear doesn't match. I had full T7, and when i started replacing with Ulduar gear I was kinda upset that the clown look was coming back.
