Sep 11th 2009 2:46PM I've found that running into a group of horde players on my ally priest is the best way to get the attention of a group of people. To hell with the trade channel. Attention whore? Just take a clothie into a BG
Sep 4th 2009 4:08PM I plan on transferring my human mage to a troll mage after i get paid tonight. He has no ties to any guilds and his friends list is smaller every day from friends leaving the game. It's time to start anew with him on the other side.
My human priest is staying where he is though to help my wife as she's a tank and I can fulfill two roles (heals and dps). Why have 2 DPS on the same side? I can help out my wife where i need to and then when I feel like meeting a new group of people, there's the mage sitting patiently in Dalaran.
Aug 24th 2009 4:36PM These guides are all so outdated. talent link is worthless now and would be nice to have leveling guide as shadow...
Jul 30th 2009 11:49AM My best instance run would probably have to be Old Hillsbrad. I'm relatively new to the game (going on 8 months now) and this was the first instance I ran where the people I was with weren't on their 2nd-3rd-4th alt and we actually took the time to explore the place while doing it.
I really am looking forward to the new patch simply because I'll be able to do dungeons with people for the first time... rather than the every too present, "okay everyone know this fight?"..... No, I do not. And can we please slow down so I can see everything in all its glory?
Jul 24th 2009 1:07PM No, that's why there are advertisements on their site
Jul 24th 2009 12:55PM I've been leveling my priest in outlands for a little while now. He's sitting at around 1k gold in his pockets and on a 60% mount.
So you ask have I made adjustments to my play style because of the patch, you bet I have! He's 64 right now and will not let go of one copper until the patch because why pay 600ish when I can pay 50ish gold?! On top of that I can buy my 100% mount and flying mount at the same time when the patch hits. If I buy the 100% mount now, I'll have to play my boring main (mage) again to make some money for the flyer.
I think I'm gonna sit him at 65 though and level an undead something or other because that video from yesterday's movie watch (Lady Sylvana) really makes me want to experience that in game.
Jul 17th 2009 5:22PM My question today is with the upcoming mount changes in the new patch, should a fresh 60 just ride along questing and running AV with his 60% mount and wait to buy the 100% at the discounted rate or bite the bullet and pay the money now and continue to quest with the faster mount? "Time is money my friend" keeps popping into my mind and I could for sure cover more ground with 100% speed than 60% speed......
Jul 15th 2009 9:56AM For me, I work two jobs at a rate of about 75 hours a week currently. I play WoW about 1.5-2 hours a day if that. My time usually consists of PVP or managing my profession cooldowns.
I'm currently leveling a priest so that when I do leave my second job, I'll have my DPS (80 mage) and a healer (currently 60 priest) so I can fill roles and make up for lost time.
For now though, PVP and outlands is fine for me as my Naxx25 ready mage sits and collects dust except to help a fresh 80 buddy run a couple heroics or making my priest some money with his professions.
Jul 1st 2009 10:00AM I plan on moving my Human mage to the Horde for the simple fact that Horde on my battlegroup is better at PVP and that's all i'm interested in doing on him.
I also have a rl friend that plays a tauren. It would be nice to hang out with him in game too from time to time.
