Nov 3rd 2006 11:08PM I don't feel it is so much the town raiding that was ruined that bothered me so much as the fact that the DK system completely destroyed the idea of capital city raiding.
Although the idea of occassionally saccing a town is fun, as annoying as it is for the victims (I was one of em most of the time) I feel that if the opposing faction wants to hold the town and they have the forces to do so, why should they get punished for it?
World pvp and all that! Have a dumpling!
Nov 2nd 2006 5:31PM Woah that guide is cool, I always wondered what some of those phrases meant, like Ishnu Daldieb, I hope they make guides for Orcish and other languages.
How do you say murloc dumpling in night elf?!
Oct 17th 2006 4:00PM I am finally pleased with the warrior changes, it only took them years to implement a trainable form of Tactical Mastery, which has been something people have been requesting 2 months since release.
I am happy regardless though, the new blood frenzy is useful in PvP and will give a huge contribution to MS warriors in raids.
As far as locks go, like they need buffs :P A 30 yard ranged stun on top of fear and deathcoil :/
Fear the dumplings!
Oct 17th 2006 3:57PM I cannot wait for Hallow's End! I am going to stock up on so many wands its going to last me till next year! Or I'll try to :P
I have the spirit of the summer pet still, so I am looking forward to being zapped into a wisp, so I can fly around with my wisp pet and mess around with people.
Have a dumpling!
Oct 11th 2006 1:39PM So the Tactical Mastery move was done to force warriors to try different specs other than 31/30.
Isn't that decision better left to the warriors? Wouldn't giving warriors 41 point talents WORTH a damn dissuade them from going 31/30?
Nah, its much easier to just hardcore nerf the class rather than come up with anything remotely good.
Sep 27th 2006 4:40PM Yah the GM of my guild just got one today, so he's going through the most active of the roster to choose who will get their invites.
And now I invite you to have a dumpling!
Sep 27th 2006 2:18PM I have been grinding toward rank 11 for a while now, this week will be my last week before finally hitting it, so the patch came at the best possible time for me, instead of having to fork over 90 gold for the 1 mount I wanted, I can now just pay 32 gold for all 4 of the rank 11 mounts, since you no longer need exalted reputation with other factions to use them.
But thats gonna hurt my bag space :(
And they are already full of dumplings!
Sep 22nd 2006 8:41PM I personally use Thottbot or Allakazam for all my WoW quest puzzlers. Some of those quests are really a pain without a little nudge in the right direction!
Here's a nudge toward a delicious direction!
Sep 22nd 2006 8:34PM Fishing can be alright if you are fishing with a friend, but it helps if you are wearing a special outfit for it, at least the leather hat!
If you have enough fishers in your guild it really helps when having to worry about certain potions, flasks, food buffs, and for those with professions that can't really aid a raiding guild, like blacksmithing, it gives you a sense of accomplishment when you contribute somehow.
Speaking of food buffs...
Sep 22nd 2006 8:28PM I love the environment of world of warcraft, I love the detail that is gone into the landscape, it gives a great sense of immersion, I remember when I tried the beta test, when I was playing City of Heros, and I made a tauren warrior and I saw the expanse of land go on forever, I was so amazed, it really made me feel like I was in this world.
Welcome to my world!
