Breakfast Topic: I don't like the word 'toon' {WoW}

Mar 30th 2012 8:46AM I don't mind the word 'toon' to describe my characters. WoW is cartoony (and yes, that is where term comes from in this case.) If you compare WoW to most other MMO's, particularly the early MMO's, it's noticeably less serious looking. It has nice bright colors, slightly goofy looking models (Night elf ears, anyone?), and exaggerated movements.

I don't mind any of these things because that's part of what makes WoW fun.

The Queue: Beta questions make good Queue questions {WoW}

Mar 25th 2012 12:12PM Q for the Queue:

I thought I remember hearing that Blizzard was considering add normal versions of the Zul'roics to the leveling range on dungeons. Has this ever been brought up again or have they added that to the 'good idea' list they have going?

Hurray for Boston Shadow Priests!

Spiritual Guidance: Shadow priest's guide to Shannox {WoW}

Jul 21st 2011 8:39AM As a fellow Boston Shadowpriest, let me just say this:

I feel your pain.

As for rageface, I raid on 25 man and, by extension, have some teammate who are much better about that 15k crit (remember, 25 man) than I am. So I take to the habit of mindflaying rageface when he's face raging. Why? Because of the auto-crit. I've had my fiend come back 1 minute after use. And, if the face rage isn't over in a second or two, I nuke it and make a new friend.

Patch 3.3: Fishing pool guarantees and what it means for the market {WoW}

Dec 2nd 2009 9:16AM How many non-skilled fishers have "Track Fish"?

real fishers will still have the edge, and I'll still pull out my main to do my fishing. It just means that "Blood is Thicker" just got alot easier on all my alts.

Oh, and I can still fish up Darkclaw Lobsters better than most other people, so if I want to fish for money, I'll go there.

Spiritual Guidance: Priest tier 10 examined {WoW}

Oct 12th 2009 11:08PM The Shadow 4-piece isn't as useful as it seems. It mostly comes down to removing the need of 500 haste (less if you currently have the T8 4-piece) to get 2 mind flays per Mind Blast cooldown. Much more haste than that isn't all that helpful.

Unless we're able to get enough haste with the piece bonus for 3 mind flays, it's of rather limited usefulness.

And, yes, I do know that Shadow Word: Pain is going to be affected by haste. However, that does not make the current 4-piece more useful.

Achieved: Level 1 to 80 with no deaths {WoW}

Jun 5th 2009 9:02AM This should be a feat of strength, period. Here's my bid for it:

Title: Hardest of the Core

Description: Leveled 1-80 without dying. EVER.

Reward: Title: the Hardcore

(reference to Diablo II for those who don't get the reference)

WoW, Casually: Rating the classes for casuals {WoW}

Jun 4th 2009 9:19AM I would recommend against leveling Priest as your first class. Levels 1-20 are rather torturous and after that mana regen nerf, they're going to be much slower.

Don't get me wrong, they're great fun and my main is a shadow priest, they're just not the easiest to level (though I still find them MUCH easier than mages)

I defiantly recommend rogue or hunter, they're defiantly not hard to level, especially for first time player

P.S-You also forgot to mention that Naxx 25 requires 2 priest for MC, which many priest no likey. (took me 4 raids to get good enough to do that the point I don;t get people killed >.
