Apr 12th 2010 12:07PM "And why do players now scale with there power like that?"

That should have been "And why do players *not* scale with their power like that?".

Not enough sleep this weekend...

Apr 12th 2010 11:23AM Yes, why do characters in WoW seem to suffer acute gigantism as they get more powerful? And why do players now scale with there power like that? Actually that would be excellent for the EPEEN...

Mar 20th 2010 8:58PM What about making the talent for ToW apply the ToW effect to whatever fire totem you have? Sort of like they made Fire Nova a spell that triggers from your active fire totem, make it a passive effect for just having a fire totem down.

Shield spell effectiveness reduced in PvP {WoW}

Feb 5th 2010 12:53AM "It does seem odd to me that we moved resilience to reduce all incoming damage and then reduced all healing to match, though. It seems somewhat like a complicated way to do nothing at all."

The way I took it is this: You take less damage the more resil you have, meaning you have more effective health (For Instance, someone with 20k health and enough resil to reduce damage by 10% has 22k effective health).

But this causes the healing to in effect scale upward in proportion. Healers would have less trouble keeping people up, because they could either use smaller heals for the same effect or have a little bit more time before heals became critical to the outcome. So they put the debuff. The end result is everyone has more health without actually having more health. As it is, everyone still has to stay on top of their game, but now they don't have to worry about being brought from 100% to 0% in 1-4 globals.
