Jun 29th 2009 4:36PM The battery life is great. The wifi range is decent for what I typically use it for (DSi, iPod Touch, 2 laptops, etc). I do like the fact that it's possible to send SMS through the device as well when it's tethered. I'm also on Verizon, which means the one feature of it I'd like to use, the GPS, is disabled with no means of turning it on. I don't see any reason why such a feature, which is part of the hardware itself, needs to be restricted by the service provider. One feature I'd like to see, however, is access to the GPS data over the air. It doesn't have to be glamorous but it would be nice for geotagging and other similar applications. Have the application connect to the MiFi either via a raw connection or even an HTTP query. The more standards-compliant, the better.
Sep 15th 2008 11:58AM Seriously, will you guys ever stop posting stuff from TehSkeen? I know it draws traffic but seriously. Everything that's ever posted there is borrowed work and nobody ever gets the facts right. Please don't support the pirates by linking to them. It gives the proper devs who do the real grunt work a bad reputation. Waninkoko has repeatedly asked for help on stuff and said he'd never share anything. What does he do? He turns around and releases it as his own. Don't support trash like this. Honestly, if you're going to cover Wii-related homebrew news, cover the positive stuff or not at all. There's plenty of other webrags out there who post about this stuff who don't care about piracy. Every time you post about piracy this & warez that on consoles where people are trying to do legitimate work, you make us out to be pirates. Enough. Just enough.
Aug 27th 2008 8:43PM Or, I don't know... learn how to make your own and avoid paying the bloated prices. I've had a murloc as my text message tone going on 2 years now. It's really not that hard provided people put enough effort into learning how to make them and how their phone works. I understand that not everyone can be a tech-head like myself but if you're going to buy a piece of hardware, you should at least spend the time learning how to take advantage of it rather than paying someone an ungodly amount of money for something simple.
Whoa, I soapboxed there. My apologies.
Aug 22nd 2008 10:53PM Gadgets? Nom nom nom.
May 1st 2008 3:46PM Seems they changed one of the quests to involve L7ETC, at least on Horde side.
Feb 10th 2008 1:20AM Reason the pic looks a little off is that I hadn't slept when I was piecing it together. My attention to detail was more focused on the map itself. Putting those maps together by hand is tricky. :)
Feb 7th 2008 10:08AM And also happens to be a great additive to any spaghetti sauce or taco meat. Mmmm.
Dec 21st 2007 11:03PM It could also be based on the mobs in the place. My guild tends to call Sethekk Halls "KFC" to avoid confusion with the "SH" names.
Maybe we can call Magister's Terrace "BDH" (Barbie Dream House) :P
Oct 15th 2007 1:41PM Who cares about a new (and expensive) Field Repair Bot. Give us the crafted mailbox. :)
