Apr 30th 2010 10:11AM Prot tree has "Warbringer", which anyone PvPing in Prot will want (makes charge/intercept/intervene available in all stances also). It also makes charge usable in combat. I still can't think of any reason for ranged folks *not* to go for the opener, but if the warrior's closing close to charge range I'd avoid any longer casts.

Apr 8th 2010 10:41AM How about daisy-chaining priests across the midfield in WSG to Life Grip the FC from ramp to ramp?

I don't disagree with your general sentiment, but I think you misunderstood the OP a little bit.
He wasn't listing abilities tied to Frost Talents specifically, he was listing abilities that come up in the Frost section of the spell book. So saying that he shouldn't include Icebound Fortitude because it's a baseline ability is kind of like...for lack of a better parallel.. saying that Revenge isn't a tank-oriented skill for warriors, because they don't have to be prot to get it.
The other thing is Lichborn... I wouldn't go out of my way (er.. tree) to take it, but it's not entirely bad for a tank to have an extra cooldown for countering crowd control either. Yes, a healer should probably be dispelling the CC, but sh** happens sometimes.
Sep 24th 2009 4:47PM This may make me even *more* unpopular here, but... it's cheap looking. I mean, I looked at all the shots of it on the 3-Point site... and to me it's a cheap looking (although, at 4lbs. + contents, certainly not cheap feeling, I'm sure) mug.

Sep 23rd 2009 9:18AM I thought, for some reason (and I'm sure it wasn't a good reason) that faction transferring back to the character's original faction forced you back to the original race as well.
Sep 23rd 2009 9:16AM I'm a little surprised that Troll is so close to the front of the horde poll right now, less than 0.5% behind the tauren. They've long seemed to be one of the least popular races on the horde side to me. Still, I always liked them, so troll druid is first on my cataclysm agenda (before even putting any time in on the new races). I had a druid going, and it was fantastic, but things have changed and he's gone now (I changed server and faction, not willing to pay for a transfer) and I'm a warrior and a DK, and I haven't been able to muster the determination to push another druid through the early levels.
Sep 17th 2009 4:54PM I'd also add that people that have dealt with Blizzard customer service a few times over the years and always had pretty consistent quality of service may not fell much like filling out the survey anymore with essentially the same scores. I've done it a couple of times by phone and email, I would say is generally pretty decent but email-based support people seem to really lack the authority or rights to fix a lot of common issues (because they can't really verify your identity, so account specific issues are pretty much out). But how many surveys is it really worth filling out to say the same thing as last time, especially if you ever have an ongoing issue where you deal with 6 different support people and get a survey for each one. Positive feedback for the one who fixed it, sure, but do I really feel like filling out a bunch of other surveys to say "Fudgeeo did a slighly above average job collecting information and passing it on to Horatio."?
