Patch 4.3 PTR: Zandalari heroics no longer in own tier; all heroics award 150 VP {WoW}

Sep 28th 2011 5:39PM Yeah,
this last set of dungeons wasn't as fun storyline wise nor progression like WotLK.
Then we had to the 2 OTHER randoms, the troll dungeons, which you need the gear to get in but you need the gear from it, kind of a catch 22. Zul aman...too long, and not as fun. I like ZG but can be tough with pugs.

Breakfast Topic: A message to someone who's left a lasting impression {WoW}

Sep 4th 2011 10:58AM When I started WoW back in December of 2005, I did so at the encouragement of a friend. He was in Ohio, and I was transplant in California. It was amazing to see the world of Azeroth. I had never experienced such an awe inspiring view. Everywhere I rotated my mouse, I saw a world just waiting for me to explore it. I had no idea where to begin, other than the obvious quests in Teldrassil. I had to quickly move because he was in Ironforge and I was a brand new night elf. He showed me quite literally the ropes and how to not walk off into the fire in Iron Forge. My friend stopped playing, however I was enlisted by some newer in-game friends to start up a guild. We explored Azeroth together, a few of them actually met each other outside the game, Oh the atrocity. However, that showed how the bonds of friendship could be extended well beyond Azeroth. My Night Elf is now a Worgen, and sadly that guild became a speck burned by Death Wing. I have said hello via Facebook to one of my former Guildies, but the others I have not found in game or out. If you're reading this Cirron, thank you for taking me through Eastern Kingdoms, right up to the castle doors of Undercity and dancing on the corpse of a newly defeated Horde player. Starage lives on through Draufgänger, on a different server and a new guild, but every once in awhile I catch a quick glance of a familiar Warrior figure that made the game exciting and fresh. Thank you and Saesa omentien lle.

Palm makes Mojo SDK beta and docs publicly available, officially opens developer floodgates {Engadget}

Jul 17th 2009 2:03PM Ok,
I'm a little stupid here. So have the download from the Palm Pre Developers website. It looks just like the pre. Ok, now I see there is a mention of the eclipse software. What do I use to program? Im a bit confused because I thought I read it in the notes that eclipse was part of the Mojo sdk?
Forgive my stupidity.

Palm Pre trouble roundup {Engadget}

Jun 8th 2009 7:08PM I too researched both the iPhone and Palm Pre til I drove everyone around me mad, and I was also one of those in line Saturday morning awaiting the Palm pre release. I am sorry to say. Not impressed. Please dont take this personally Pre lovers, it really wasnt as smooth as I had hoped, and I REALLY tried to love this phone, I did. I wanted more than anyone for the Palm Pre to knock my socks off. I've been with Sprint for 9 years and have been so patient for them to finally come out with a phone that would help them to stand proud.
We got into the store after the usual 1 hour wait in order to control crowds, good idea, however once in, no one presented the phone, they just took our names and would have taken our money, but several things happened. One, we were given this flyer that showed us package deals, ok, nice but we just want the phone. Guess what, no deal, and yes THIS WAS A SPRINT STORE, NOT AN AUTHORIZED RESELLER like Radio Shack. Many of us, other people in line, were very angry with this. In fact besides us, another couple walked out. I did play with the phone, and it did actually feel cheap, I kept trying to love it I even told my friend, it's light that's great. The swipe technique was a little cumbersome and it wasn't as nice I really, really wanted it to be. I have seen the new iPhone S coming June 19th, and yup we are definitely switching. Awesome phone and features, but yes, I will be checking it out before I get that particular one, and if I dont like it, which I'm sure I will because I already like the current iPhone, which you can get for $99 now, I will just get the current one.
Sorry folks, sorry Sprint and Palm, you just didnt pass the test.
