Nov 2nd 2009 2:48AM I agree with this. As a fresh-faced player on my first toon, I was level 68 and listening to friends and the guild about Flying mounts, Raids, Quel'Danas and so on. Gave up trying to visit the cities for anything. (Being in Stormwind fitted Cleanse with a macro where casting it would make the target whisper me enquring as to why I had improper activities with my mother.) Then Shattrath became unusable. Then going after Loremaster was lost as quest-givers only wanted 10 brainsss. Winterspring? Only until someone decided to take over Timbermaw Hold.

Tried playing an alt instead - a low-level Hunter in Barrens during an outbreak of mass-griefing lasted as long as you'd expect.

Brilliant concept, the playerbase at large gave it the Reverse Midas touch.

Nov 2nd 2009 12:34AM It's even sadder to see a game described as an "achievement". With or without their track record of said exploits.
