Jun 16th 2009 10:46AM Hey,
I think the author knocks a little on the story in the lowbie areas. I remember playing my Human rogue through the early quests and knew that the defias were basically taking over westfall by scaring the people away, that we were fighting a losing battle against the orcs in Red ridge and that some undead scourge was overtaking duskwood... a lot of story and lore there. The best part is you learn that none of the groups know the other is in danger until you go out seeking aid. In fact the red ridge quests led to me having justification to enter UBRS and MC and BWL.
Damn that does make me a bit nostalgic haha.
Jun 12th 2009 9:09AM Vanilla - Ragnaros I mean damn back when you'd spend weeks collecting fire resist gear farming that place all to hell and that was just a huge epic fight.
BC - The Opera, I loved that encounter especially the intro, Karazhan as a whole was a win from Blizzard and not because it was a 10 man. It was interesting encounter after interesting encounter set in the WoW equivilent of a fun house.
Wrath - I'd have to go with Mimiron the fight is nicely scripted and gets intense to heal but mainly I think it's because of the guild singing the Imagination Song while we're on the Tram...
Jun 11th 2009 8:58AM I think Ravenholt was a nice Lore area for Rogues that was really underused. I wish they'd go back and do something with it. It's the Assasin's guild... :(
Jun 9th 2009 1:10PM I'd say if you're a regular reader we'll know right away when the pets come out via all of the sites and probably a message on the official World of Warcraft website.
