The best of WoW.com: September 2009 {WoW}

Jan 4th 2010 7:18PM Gosh it's hard to get ahold of you, Mr. Ziebart.

Could you please send me an e-mail telling me what those reasons were?

I've been really curious about it for quite some time.

World of WarCrafts: The littlest Murloc {WoW}

Nov 24th 2009 5:14PM the post above this one is exactly why I didn't want anyone starting any fuss over this, I'd really rather not have people getting the wrong idea about the story or the people who contributed to it, or all of the hard work that went into it.

To 'Pucelle', I am sorry you did not enjoy the story.

I don't believe your comments were necessary, but thank you for the criticism.

Nov 23rd 2009 8:28PM Ah, whatever, it's not a big deal.

I won't pretend I'm not disappointed to be sort of stuffed under a break, but hey, what can you do?

The kid's adorable.

[1.Local]: It's the players, not the mechanics {WoW}

Nov 22nd 2009 5:03PM Also, if you're not near your flag, you cannot stop it from being capped.

LM has the least points of access in AB, you can only get to it through two roads.
Every other point has between 3 and 8 points enemy players can get in through.

Standing on the road only theoretically 'blocks' one point of access - and in practice blocks ~nothing~.
People can ride or stealth past you, or just avoid you completely and get to the flag through the hole you're not standing in.

While you are playing with the one guy you've grabbed off the road, the other two are running right past you towards the flag. You're in combat now. You can't mount up.

Let's say you grabbed a guy who was an easy kill, let's even say you 2-shot him. They're already past you and at the node. It's 5 seconds until you can mount, 1.5 seconds to mount up, and by the time you get there, the flag has been capped and you have lost the node.

In the very old days of the rank grind, if you fought on the road, you were kicked out of your premade and immediately replaced.

Without a premade, you probably wouldn't be able to gain enough honor to make rank.

People learned very quickly not to do such foolish things as give our nodes away.

I have hopes that Rated BGs will bring this work ethic back to BGs.

Nov 22nd 2009 1:02PM Dungeons and Draenei is just bad.

Children's Week ruins Battlegrounds {WoW}

May 3rd 2009 9:25PM I agree wholly. Children's week needs to fekktig end, like right now.

What was wrong with last years 'Once and Orphan'? That one actually DID get new people into large-group PVP.

This crap is doing nothing but convincing non-pvpers that the BGs are basically dead.
