Aug 5th 2009 1:05PM It's a real shame that Blizzard have dumbed the game down a lot more than what it was: removing the need to do Swift Flight Form quest chain or removing the summoning of mounts...it's a lot easier than what it was. I think Blizzard are looking at keeping people on the game long term by introducing a more casual gamer approach.
I do wonder if there will be any challenges at all.
Jun 10th 2009 6:24PM Well, I think it's both a fault on BOTH parties:
Firstly, Blizzard was in fault for giving the item in the first place, and I wouldn't be surprised if they haven't taken action upon this any time shortly after the incident; the Blizzard employee probably fired.
Secondly, the player was in fault for not mentioning it to Blizzard to take it back, instead he went into the game and - despite what people HAVE said - he DID cause damage to the game, killing the new raid instance bosses, seeing drops, stealing "world first" achievements, etc.
I can imagine how much time this must take for Blizzard to fix, but it was their fault in the first place...the player just made it worse.
