Jun 19th 2009 10:34AM While I agree not all of the changes are ideal. But as Brig….errr Eddie has said before, we (hunters) will find a way to adapt. Who knows, maybe we were spoiled by the BM buff of TBC and now having to actually work for our DPS annoys some. I see it more as a new policy handed down by corporate and we have to make it work. Of course not everybody is going to be happy about it but until Blizz takes our bows/guns and pets and gives us a sling shot and a pet rock, I’m sure hunters will find a way to maintain. (besides, I have always wanted to put a frost trap down and an immolating trap (hadn’t thought of the snake trap but that sounds like fun too), that potentially some nice DPS to help us burn stuff a bit faster, granted, I don’t know how easy it will be but it does sound like fun
And calling Eddie a rogue?!?! Haha, he eats rogues for breakfast.
Jun 17th 2009 9:43AM I'm looking forward to seeing what they do about ammo cost. As the engineered ammo makes us either dependent on an engineer or the AH for the boxes and/or mats. With any luck they will make the ammo available at vendors at a reasonable cost or maybe something we can make ourselves (unlikely).
I wouldnt mind getting some CC options back also; chain trapping FTW
Jun 11th 2009 4:13PM Hey,
I recently started paying attention to ilevel (with Ulduar). Honestly, I think BC upgrades were easier to follow. Then with WotLK, and the mad dash to 80, some of the instance drops were pretty good and clear, at least in my case. Then came Naxx; cake. Clear upgrades. Ulduar on the otherhand has given me headaches in trying to figure out what’s the best upgrade. You might think some tier gear would be better than an item off of one of the earlier bosses, nope. at least not in my case. And I'm pretty sure I recall GC saying that’s the way they wanted it.
Sure something’s are clear upgrades but once you are doing Ulduar consistently, all bets are off.
