Dec 17th 2009 11:27PM One-on-one with any single boss and Anub'arak would easily destroy them (Pound), but with swarms of adds, and the Tribunal constantly firing crap in every direction that would wipe out his own adds, I honestly don't see how Anub'arak can manage this one.
Nov 10th 2009 8:56PM The extra "C" stands for "crap," as in "oh crap, that place is the daily AGAIN?"
Nov 9th 2009 9:31PM So Rogues are supposed to become Geists now? I've never been more thankful for the ability to uncheck the "Show helm" box...
No wait... I'm starting to remember something about the masks that make us look like ducks...
Oct 28th 2009 5:46PM Can't win it if you're not in it, I suppose...
Oct 16th 2009 12:44AM Crush, not Slam >.>
Oct 16th 2009 12:36AM The proto-drake and the gauntlet are Skadi's edge, but Bjarngrim has 2 healers and a Temporary Electric Charge going into this. He'll likely wreck the gauntlet, learn his lesson about the frosty cloud on the ground the first time, and be healed up enough by the end to assign one of his healers to spear duty. Once they shoot down Skadi, Bjarngrim simply has a bigger toolkit. Both can whirlwind, but Bjarngrim can tank, or have one of his healers Arc Weld Skadi to the floor for massive damage if he's dumb enough to move. The Poison Spears are a joke against Ironform, and the healers will offset the extra damage in from Slam.
As dangerous as Skadi is, he doesn't stand a chance against Bjarngrim.
Oct 7th 2009 9:46PM Fourth time's a charm... maybe...
Oct 2nd 2009 12:57AM There is still a downfall, though. If Vanish is poorly timed, the Rogue will still take damage. It may not break Stealth if it lands within that 1 second (which is shorter than the GCD I might add), but if the damage meets or exceeds the Rogue's remaining health, the Rogue will still kiss the floor, at which point Stealth will fade anyway.
Sep 30th 2009 11:19PM Another chance to win sweet swag? Definitely in.
Sep 28th 2009 9:45AM I've seen the Runecaster recommendations floating around and I agree. Heals/RDPS combo class, with trees set up similar to those of DK's, in that each tree can perform each role adequately, depending on your speccing choices. Rune/RP dual-resource system so that, if you're thinking, you never lack the ability to cast something, but poor rotational choices would lead to being forced to wait on cooldowns. The resource system would, of course, favor instant-cast HoTs, shields, DoTs, etc, with the occasional, dual-rune nuke (whether that's a heal or damaging spell would, of course, depend on the spec). Healers and RDPS don't really need to be armored to the teeth, so this seems like a good candidate for sharing spellpower mail, or leather (Blizz has stated that they don't like spellpower plate anyway, and would like to try to get rid of it).
Save the Demon Hunter for when we have the tank and healer shortages filled.
