May 18th 2011 9:51AM I remember when the Achievement system first came out in late BC. My whole guild was talking about it on vent, and specifically that one. We were going over different ways to try it, but none of them worked. Raid time came, and we put it aside. We were fighting Solarian in The Eye, and she did her AOE explosion that sent a large number of us up into the air. On landing, we all got the achievement and had a good laugh about it on vent.
May 7th 2011 12:36PM Q for the Q:
Any idea what the next Hero class might be? i've heard talk of Archdruids and Archmages, but they don't seem as unique as a DK.

Silly comment system!!
May 5th 2011 12:12PM I know your right. It was just a thought that crossed my mind the other day as everyone kept reffering to the 25-man raid that took out OBL and they way it was so similar to a WoW raid. Obviously Blizz would never put out content about this, but again, it was just my mind wondering.
As for the Uldum quest, I personally loved it. It was awesome to see them do so much with the Harrison Jones theme. I'll admit the Shnottz questline was a bit odd when you start dealing with him directly, but since it ties in with the Indiana Jones story, it works nicely.
May 5th 2011 11:54AM So I had a crazy thought the other day, after hearing about the raid that killed Bin Laden. (yes, I know your probably tired of all the media coverage as well)
How funny would it be to implement raids/dungeons based off of recent events? Or at least model them somewhat like them.
It appears the US sent in 25 SEALS to take him out.
They had to get through about 5 other people to get to Bin Laden.
They gathered all of his loot after for future use.
So ya, it sounds absolutely ridiculous, and I know Blizz would never do it, but how awesome would a raid/heroic based off of something similar be?
Apr 27th 2011 10:03AM I've been playing for more or less 3/4 years now, and I've taken 2 major breaks since then.
First was for school reasons, and I quit for about 6 months right after WOTLK, before we started Ulduar. I got back into it, and started raiding hardcore all the way to ICC.
Halfway through ICC, I was my guild's top DK, raiding 4-5 nights a week, and started to get burned out. I was determined to see ICC through to the end, but I was sitting in Dalaran one day, and realized how absolutely childish both trade chat and my guild were. So I started playing less and less, and eventually stopped playing for a full year.
I got back into it last month after playing Dragon Age 2, and seeing alot of the similarities in the stories, and it drove me back to WoW, but in a much more casual setting.
Apr 26th 2011 5:35PM Seems Mik's Scrolling Battle Text, Bagnon, and QuestHelper are causing problems as well, along with Recount as mentioned above.
Apr 20th 2011 4:12PM In WOTLK I faithfully did dailies each and every day, but then again, I was playing a lot more hardcore then I am now.
Now I'm at 85 on my DK and gearing up through heroics, but also leveling a worgen rouge for PvP, and eventually my 82 hunter will reach 85 as well.
With less playtime, lack of a guild to farm rep for, and 2 other toons to play with, I normally just login, farm some artifacts while I wait for a DPS spot in a heroic, then go level my other toons.
Apr 15th 2011 12:07PM I worked at CompUSA for about a year as a tech, and we had tons of people (mostly kids though) come in for the same exact reason. (Most of the Tech/Sales staff play WoW as well.) Calling you homo just seems a bit extrme, although I can picture a sales guy being all apologetic for fear of loosing his commision on the sale.
Apr 15th 2011 12:03PM I've played on a PvP server since day 1. Obviously I've had my share of being ganked for no reason. Yes, it sucks. Yes, it waste time. Yes, it gets annoying. But I really do think it adds a whole new dimension to the game. Keeps you on your toes, and forces you to keep on alert when out questing.
