Feb 10th 2010 11:13AM So… you could fill your bags with old gear OR wait a bit for the tank to get aggro, and run heroics with your >5800 GS. I'll take option (b). Not only does it have the advantage of leaving my bags clearer, but if things go awry it leaves you with more potential damage output to clear out wipe-inducing mobs quicker. Most heroic mobs will die in a few gcds from a >5800 GS equipped player, and all classes have a way to keep mobs off them for this brief time (frost trap, frost nova, fear, mind flay, kidney shot, etc…). One hopes one doesn't have to take things into their own hands, but if the tank d/cs or the healer decides to go afk, you should have a backup plan. Equipping old gear makes you less able to deal with these situations.

Jun 16th 2009 11:54PM Sooo if alchemists will now be able to use flasks and engineers can continue to use their nets, why can tailors not use their nets?
