Feb 28th 2011 2:53PM Kelly, the last two iPhones have referred to the network speed in their name (3G and 3GS). A lot of people refer to the original iPhone as the 2G because it only ran on EDGE.
I've lost track of the number of people I've heard call the iPhone 4 the "4G". It's a combination of Apple + the public setting a precedent for how they are named and referred to. So when the average person sees 4 next to the word iPhone, they automatically think "4G". It's a logical next step after 2G, 3G, and 3GS.
T-Mobile's marketing department is taking this concept and running with it.
Jan 12th 2011 12:13PM I updated my copy at work (which hadn't been unlocked with the MacHeist key) and it no longer shows the menu option. So, my thinking is that if you had already entered your key before the update, the menu option is still there.

Rémi had absolutely no tact in his comments and actions. He's come off like an absolute prick to a lot of people, and is burning bridges, whether intentional or not, with every word he says.
A developer of his stature should not act like this.
Jan 6th 2011 9:59AM If I'm understanding everything correctly, the licenses sold through the Mac App Store are personal licenses, specifically prohibiting commercial use. So it wouldn't be totally fair to compare the website price with the App Store price.
...But that's one heck of a discount. Makes me happy I held back on purchasing Aperture.
