Gold Capped: Making ridiculous sums of money on the auction house {WoW}

Feb 14th 2010 10:25PM @Netheral

I'm always like that. People talk about how they farmed all the mats for something in 5 days, and I relay onto them that they could have quested for those 5 days, and have double the amount of money they need to buy those mats. They never understand potential gain. xD

Looking back at 40-player raids {WoW}

Feb 12th 2010 10:09PM LK is ease of access.

Vanilla was what took up time but really made the game feel like a world. LK is more convenient sure, but that doesn't mean it's better.

Everyone says "look back and remember how you had to walk to instances and summon people and how you had to spend time organising 40 people?". Yes, LK is more convenient but that doesn't always mean it's better.

Some of the stuff isn't fact though, I just preferred the old way.

Feb 12th 2010 9:04PM The only reason it was hell getting 39 others to co-ordinate was if your guild or guild leader was crap at organisation. It was never a problem for me.

Feb 12th 2010 8:55PM Oh, by the way, just gonna throw it out there that half of the people who say the game is better now are either casuals or never played Vanilla and are pretending they did.

Feb 12th 2010 8:51PM It was hard and inconvenient but fun.

People were not meant to get tons of epics for free. That's why it was hard. It gave a feeling of achievement.

That feeling is now gone, and I still play the gaming hoping it will come back.

Take your "rose tinted goggles" argument and bugger off. The fact is, vanilla was better, had a better theme (D+D style), and was PLANNED OUT. The game has evolved from what it was supposed to be into what makes Blizzard the most money.

Feb 6th 2010 11:33AM After the steel series warcraft mouses, I'm going to be wary about what I purchase... :/

Breakfast Topic: Should we have to level every character? {WoW}

Feb 6th 2010 11:27AM Levelling is there so you can learn to play your class. The reason people despise levelling so much nowadays is because everything is given to them on a plate, free of charge, by their butler.

Levelling will be a lot more fun in cataclysm when everyone is levelling at once and you can get into dungeons with people on your server. We don't need any more clueless 80s in epics waving their epeens around tyvm.

WoW, Casually: Tidbits for the playtime-challenged {WoW}

Feb 4th 2010 4:18PM "remember that we outnumber you."
This is a sad day for the "World" of "war"-"craft"

Quotation marks used because everyone stays in one city, not attacking each other (therefore remove world and war) and crafted gear is far worse than easy heroic gear (take away craft).

So basically the game is now "of". It's catchy! :)

WoW Rookie: Trouble afoot in leveling instances {WoW}

Feb 4th 2010 4:09PM I loved the long dungeons that were tough. Nice storylines, the deeper you went in they changed from trolls to dragons as you found the heart of some of the places in azeroth.

Heroics nowadays are kind of pathetic. Easy, short, and I'm bored of walking on the samey looking floating paths or raised walkways everywhere. It's a dungeon not a floating path of shitness with less trash mobs than bosses.

Bring back awesome quest chains, dungeons that take long to complete, battlegrounds that rage on for days.

It's the world of warcraft.
Not the city of teleport-to-PuG-get-phree-epix-sit-in-dalaran-and-wave-your-epeen craft.
