May 14th 2010 9:47PM Also, many of these new races/class combos may be explained in the starting Zone quests, instead of world quests like the TaurPaladin and NelfMage ones.
May 14th 2010 9:43PM They already stated that the dwarves learned Shamanism from the Wildhammer clan. If memory served it was either at, or shortly after Blizzcon. The totems have a pretty big Wildhammer theme too.
Apr 22nd 2010 3:20PM You're opening was fantastic. I don't think I've read anything that made me laugh that hard in a long time. I don't play a hunter, in fact as a rogue there's a rivalry with some grudging respect, but this article was pretty damn awesome.
Mar 10th 2010 2:24PM "We could be summed up by one word, awesome"
This is as far as the article needed to go, anyone who doesn't already know this needs to roll a rogue and be enlightened.
Mar 3rd 2010 6:22PM Sub is definitely a fun spec, but it's been a "dead" spec for some time. There are a few die hard users but assassination and (especially) combat have been in the limelight for most of this expansion.
Mar 2nd 2010 4:10PM There's a Troll in the original wow cinematic running by on a raptor. You can't see it all too well but I knew what it was and it inspired me to roll Troll on the spot.
Mar 2nd 2010 4:03PM Yeah it's unfortunate that they get stuck into that. They have an amazing back story, one of the oldest races of Azeroth, once the ruler of most of the world in a huge Empire, original race to lock away the bugs of AQ, now just a bunch of small tribes trying to survive their harsh skirmishes with elves and each other. The Darkspear being the smallest of these tribes is now rising to glory as members of the Horde.
So much potential all wasted, just so people can say "Gwan on rudeboy?"
Feb 22nd 2010 2:44PM There are Authors who will have to go back and retcon the first book in a series because things don't work out the right. It happens, it's not sloppy writing, it's a change of heart.
There is no reason that the Author of a story should not be able to change it when they want. It's their story. Back when people were telling stories orally, they were not told the same way every time, this is why we have different versions of the same myths. Stories evolve, much the same way everything else does.
I don't see why everyone get's up in arms about ret-cons. They are generally more cohesive then if the Author threw in a completely new and alien element to a story as opposed to something familiar but slightly altered it may have turned into something confusing. Let the Authors and writers decide what's best, it's their IP, we're just here to enjoy it.
Feb 17th 2010 3:30PM This article definitely replicates the feeling I have whenever killing Alliance on my server. I just recently had a successful 1v1 in Iron Forge with a human pally and boy does it feel good to laugh at the corpse of your enemy in their own home. :-)
Feb 9th 2010 11:48AM Have you see the way Trolls sprint? Definitely receivers, without a doubt.
