Mar 23rd 2012 1:38PM That priest set just looks... wow.

Deccan - shaman. Named after the Indian super volcano that people once theorized wiped out the dinosaurs.
Jokulhaups - ice mage. Nordic word that describes the flash flood released when a frozen river breaks free. Destroys all creatures artifacts and lands.
Mazama - destro lock. The volcano that exploded to create Crater Lake in Oregon
Jan 5th 2012 3:46PM Take the ridiculous cooldowns and and incredibly short durations off of fun items! They're meant to be fun and right now they aren't.
Dec 8th 2011 10:50AM I started back in Vanilla. My first character was a rogue named "Plastique" named after the DC comics super villain. I was overwhelmed by the apparent freedom of what you could be. I was going to be an engineer that used bombs to destroy my enemies, but then I realized that the bombs had a cooldown and my dream quickly crumbled and I didn't play again for a few months. One of my friends had a raiding guild that needed healers so I thought I'd just level a priest "real quick". I think I finally hit 60 right before BC came out.
Nov 1st 2011 2:07PM Out in the world, the mobs being packed too tight never really bothered me, but I only leveled a disc priest and a warrior back then so I generally had decent survivability. I was really talking about some crypts, dungeons and caves that could just be a death-traps unless you did it just right solo or grouped it. And it wasn't specifically that I miss mobs being packed tight. I just miss there being a danger of death. There doesn't seem to be one anymore.
Nov 1st 2011 1:41PM I miss being challenged with solo content. When I recently re-leveled through Cataclysm, I was blown away by the quests. They had great stories, they were fun, but one thing they were missing was challenge. No more group quests, no more deaths to mobs being packed too tight. I think leveling to 60 without dying used to be a considerable challenge. I'd say its pretty common now.
I miss traveling all over the world doing quests, here and there and back again and the rewards, though negligible by today's standards felt truly epic. I wouldn't out-level them in 1 more hour of play. When you quest today, it's just a means to an end. Gear feels almost pointless until you get to Outland, even if you do do like I did and don't use heirlooms.
I do not miss all the useless specs, I do not miss the pain of rep grinding at top level, and I do not miss all the bad itemization.
Oct 20th 2011 12:10PM QftQ:
Is there anyone from the WI staff that isn't going to Blizzcon that's, say holding down the old fort or something? If so, please bring them presents.
Oct 12th 2011 6:28PM Jason, good point about the MB crit. I find that I also like the mobility of that opener. I fade just before the pull then cast my initial spikes and VT from range and cast my instant MB, DP, SW:P, and SW:D as I run into position.
Oct 12th 2011 6:11PM What do you use as an opener? I usually do 2 Mind Spikes, followed by a VT, MB, then apply DP and SWP. Is that bad?
Mar 9th 2011 4:15PM edit: "are" = "or" on #2 there.
5) Does anyone else try to proc shadowy apparitions by moving during your global cooldown after casting instants?
