Oct 12th 2010 1:02PM all i know is that this means a complete overhaul of my gems probably since my main is a rouge and there is no more armpen
Sep 14th 2010 10:53AM I agree with your statment to some degree, but at the same time do you ever think if they didnt mention wow directly and you had resources to support their claims as to being a good leader or a very outgoing person as far as willing to learn new things, being able to instill confidence in others, or even just being able to help other understand when they were alittle unsure of the exact directions in whiich they were to do the job that you might look at it from a different angle?
Sep 14th 2010 10:44AM Sounds to me like most of you are fogeting the key factor in using WoW as an experiance based use for job apps. If u dont mention the game directly and just inform the potential employer that you schedule events that require mass coordination and leadership skills to put together on a weekly basis, this should suffice enough to atleast get you the intherview then in person is when you may explain abit. However it may be, imo, a strong suggestion that you still reframe from using the "WoW" name. Then again depending on how open minded the employer is and if that employer is a good leader their selves they should admire and respect the fat that you didnt lie. I have heard of employers asking, "If you could be any animal in the world, any one at all what would you be?" this is a personality questtion so therefore is not an indecation of your job proformance but it is an incite into how well you will or may work with a team, group or even with the public. But again there are always risks that we take when applying for a job.
Sep 9th 2010 8:19AM Agreed, they do make some of them abit sympathizable but at the same time with my dk i made the choice inadvertently to join the scryers. Although you still only have 1 of 2 paths you can go.
Jul 13th 2010 12:05PM The add-on issue shouldnt affect u but the real id glitch with the whole not being on a parentally controlled acct will that has to do with the real id system alone its a blizz/esrb/battle.net glitch to my understanding. But as for your ? no the addon thing shouldnt effect u since u dont use addons and im not sure my addons a effected by the glitch either i only use stuff like buff/debuff bars purely cosmetic none of that GS, auctioneer, altoholic stuff. Hope that helps u some.
Jul 13th 2010 8:12AM WOW really they fix things, they break things, they fix then break. I mean seriously i get the whole trail and error thing has to happen to get it right but isnt that what the test realms and betas are for. me personally idc for the real id but if it helps with keeping up with ppl thats kool then again most of the ppl i know that play wow are either on my server or on the ones i left due to the long log ques (ex. Earthenring on a good night 800que)! And now there is the issue with the add-ons getting info they dont need other than that given when DLing curse client or w/e client you use. Hopefully things will work out. I am all for change but not needing to get a whole new life cuz someone didnt like theirs......lol jk! (No one wants my life trust me.)
Jul 13th 2010 7:30AM ok so what this sounds like to me would be a clever way of making ppl stop using addons and if things keep heading in this route of " Blizz has idea, Blizz makes idea real in patch, Blizz fuks up with a privacy issue, Players say," Fuck this ill go play SW:TOR...(Not really) but u get the point.
Apr 27th 2010 12:35PM i agree with the idea of the 10 and 25 droping the same gear in both raids but with the idea of them being the same in stats i disagree with becuz this is one thing that makes being in a big guild a plus and bulding the guild also. Also i do like the idea of making raids more close to the same experience in both 10 and 25 mans is nice and also pushes ppl to try out the heroic modes more than just running normal mode all the time is sweet but i have only been playing hardcore since WotLK and i have to agree over all with the vanilla players this would indeed, imo, cause the cataclysmic downfall of 25mans and may even lead to the reason why more ppl drop wow and pick up star wars. Not saying that they wouldnt play wow still or Star Wars would become the new WoW just saying that the progression raid set now is more of what keeps me interested and wanting more.
Apr 27th 2010 8:20AM I played some during vanilla but never to the raiding point and i hear vanilla players talk about that E>P>I>C feeling during rading and the now that i have got into wow fulltime since WotLK released the only raid i have done, and would like to do again to finish it, is the sunwell where i felt any sort of "Man if we pull this shit off it would be awsome." But since i hnever raided during the vanilla days i cant say i know 100% what u are talking about and that pains me to say.
Apr 20th 2010 10:37AM Ok so we get a smoke bomb that does nothing but aloow us to have to vanish to trick the enemy into thinking that we r still in the cloud when (if pvped) a palidin can just consicrate the land to find us, hunters and druids use their humaniod trackers, dks use DnD, or the boss just isnt able to target the tank and we get blamed for causing the raid to wipe due to loss of aggro..........GREAT.......wtf is blizz thinking i mean i love my rogue my dk was my first 80 becuase i got back into wow then but my rogue is my main always and now besides trying to TotT the aggro 1 or 2 times i now have to TotT everytime its up to make sure the tank keeps aggro because of a cloud of useless smoke......it may be good for pve questing but not raiding so why add something that is 1 sided oinstead of something to use for multiple reasons i.e. pvp pve and raids
