Sep 9th 2010 8:36AM Kael'thas or Gul'dan for sure. Too bad they are pretty much dead.
I've always liked the dark horde story in Warcraft 1 and 2. Generally evil faction that I would join into. But theres just something in Twilight Cult that I dont want to be part of even if Yogg-saron was the best boss ever. They just seem to be evil because they can be evil, they dont have general motive other than being insane from the start.
Basically faction that is evil but in way that they wanted to help their people (Kaelthas) but went little overboard and insane in the end.
Sep 8th 2010 5:02PM Trolls have last name, sorta: They have more of titles like "headhunta", "mosswalka".
Draenei do not have any last names.
Sep 7th 2010 1:46PM Will last till month before cata. Or was it month after release of event.
Month time to level. Go go go go go, I'm leveling if you dont level. Go go go go go go go.
Aug 30th 2010 8:26AM When I RP on my night elf I'm pretty heavy believer of Elune and that Elune guides. Funnily little more than I believe on anything irl. But I dont want to go into real life issues here (but im no atheist)
But are there atheists on azeroth? Yes: Forsaken.
Do they have religion? Not really. Do they believe on something fanatically? Sure.
And what about Gnomes? Before Gnome priests they dont really have religion either and I dont really think Gnome priests are going to turn into "Priests/priestess of light", I have feeling that they turn into Priest to help allies and they are interested on healing abilities.. I mean, Priests are sooo widespread subject. Not all priests are about Light and holy or shadow.
Aug 29th 2010 7:45AM Any info when is next beta wave coming? It has been quite while since the second wave and I would like to get the beta someday..
Aug 26th 2010 6:06AM So basically:
Special event pets: Murlocs (See: Murloc Costume, Murky, Murkimus the Gladiator, deathwing murloc)
Collectors edition pets: Whelps (See: Netherwhelp, Frosty, Deathwing whelps)
Even when doing pets that have same basic idea.. I have to admit, they look awesome and still feel somewhat unique. But _personally_ apart from deathwing models? I would've wanted bit more variety and more feel. Frosty doesn't really catch the feel of having expensive CE on my shelf. Oh well, nitpicking here.
Aug 25th 2010 8:36AM Simply put.
Yogg-saron's lines. Specially laugh.
I'm always been more towards "mad" characters on any games. Or just plain evil.
The laugh of Yogg-saron is so good I always laugh with him.
"BWAHAHAHA..HAAAHAAHAAAA" I laugh with him and get grin rest of the fight. Also when it says "..BOW DOWN BEFORE THE GOD OF DEATH!". Its messing with brain and it feels good.
Basically Yogg-saron was THE best end boss I've countered personally ever. Specially in wrath. In voices, music and encounter desing.
Aug 24th 2010 10:24AM No. By my reasoning all specs are viable on the ROLE they are meant to be played at.
Dont ya twist my words *shakes cane*
Not to get too deep into subject because this is old queue.
All dps specs are viable. They can do damage without being utterly gimped by things like main nuke needing to be in certain position and its costing 70% of your resource everytime you use it.
The other thing is, will you want COOKIE CUTTER spec or viable spec.
Cookie cutter =/= viable.
Go arms, have fun. Or stay fury and press 3 buttons or 4 if you get slam proc.
Aug 24th 2010 10:06AM I dont want to nitpick or be "negative anti-fanboy" sounding. I'm just confused...
"You realize "only class" claims are viewed as a success by the developers. The classes are too similar as it is. "
Because some class is being _gimped_ by certain things shouldn't mean its "success" in my book. I really do not understand why is that GOOD and SUCCESS that they remove aoe grind and aoe abilities from hunters (apart from explo trap).
How far can this go? Will they use this excuse on every spell remove or "gimping class on some aspect" abilities?
What happens if they remove all aoe abilities from mages, will mage community accept that "Its good because Devs said that that makes our class unique and success by devs and blizzard(spell), living bomb, flamestrike, arcane explosions were never mage-like abilities to begin with"
I mean come on now. First they add aoe to every class and now they suddenly remove it from one and consider it "good" because
1) "It wasnt hunter-like ability"
Volley? Not hunter-like? Legends about volley of arrows by archers, that was so thick you couldnt see sun? And everyone says "Blizzard says so! It must be good reason!"
2) "It makes hunter unique to other classes"
Gimping some aspect of class =! unique and good thing.
Yeah I'm mostly ranting now. Fair enough, most pulls from dungeon videos and everything dont see that much of aoe possible. But lets see when we overgear the heroics by 4 tiers.. And I guess less aoe leveling? and random aoe rogue/cat spotting..
This is really intresting change. Personally I dont like it. I just cant see reason why they would do that, the reasons seem pretty generic and wont tell anything: "It makes class unique".
UNLESS.. multishot will be like in those nexus mobs. Randomly shooting extra arrows at nearby enemies? Then again it will still have min range unlike volley had.
Aug 23rd 2010 10:12AM Arms is still viable, what do you mean by viable? Top dps? Good performer? Doing damage? Fun?
I think wow users are once again not understanding the word "viable".
Viable DOES NOT MEAN its "top dps".
All specs are viable. Simple as that.
